All missed the Pats game with injury. Two were considered starting guards at beginning of training camp and two were considered top candidates for b/u tackle.
Not sure what the status of Brown or Brewer are, but it looks like Gaines may have made this team.
We know Schwartz is out for a while, but are the Giants counting on Mosley being back for game #1? If not all they have in reserve at G and C is Reynolds.
I wanted team to only carry 8 OL (and several developmental types on PS) a couple of weeks ago, but with Schwartz unavailable, they need to go 9 unless the plan is to temporary IR him.
With Schwartz and Herrman available after 25% of the season or so, we've got plenty in reserve at G down the road. If we pick up a waiver wire guy now, my guess is it'll be to replace Mosley.
In the short term, if Mosley's on the team, he's our second b/u tackle. Brown and Brewer on the way out I think.
Jerry is finally coming around from his surgery, hopefully Mosley can get back to practicing soon. Richburg has been a pleasant surprise for a Rookie. Beatty is still shaking off some rust, but looks quicker out there than I remember seeing him. Pugh played his best game last night after a rough pre-season. I am very optimistic about this OL. As long as the Middle can create a pocket for Eli we will be good, and the Run blocking is the best I've seen it in years.
The WR's on the other hand, yeah they need to play with more consistency. For those clamoring we should of drafted 2 starting OL with our first 2 picks, really overlooked how much we have fallen off at the WR position. Outside of Cruz, there are still a bunch of question marks.

Backups: Mosley, Scwhartz, Gaines, Reynolds.
Brewer stays if we put Scwhartz on short term IR, which might not be a bad idea. He wasn't playing that well anyway. Herman doesn't count because of his suspension.
