53 man roster picks

This is what I would go with. I am loathe to go with an unbalanced roster ( I prefer 25/25) but I don't think thats the best 53 and I also think the roster will change over the next 2 weeks even after the cuts. It will, like last year change again a few times the first couple of weeks.

At RB, Hillis over cox. Hillis got more yds in 1 game with less than half the attempts than Cox did all preseason.Production between Cox and Gaskins wasn't close, Gaskins receiving yds more than double, 25% more rushing yards in 3 less attempts, at a 3.6 avg yds per rush vs 2.4 There's just nothing to commend cox over Gaskins or Hillis.

At TE Donnell is clearly first, Fells did OK and Robinson had more yds than either Fells or Davis, who was basically nowhere.The blocking Davis can do can be done by either Fells or Robinson. There's no real reason to carry him.
Davis has 12 yds in preseason to 84 for Robinson.

WR is straight up by production.Talley doesn't have the yds to beat anyone, Parker was second in total yardage for the whole team throught the preseason behind only washington.I don't really dig Parker but how do you drop the number 2 producer who also plays specials? Cruz, Randle and Beckham did shit but they just aren't going anywhere.Jernigan who I also don't like makes it because I think they keep 6 because for total receivers they are short between them, the RBs and the TEs. Also Beckham is injured, and JJs preseason production does justify him a spot.. They may drop one guy after Beckham starts, but for now the keep 6.

Same reason the go with 2 FBs for now.They may drop one if Hyno gets better, or if it appears he doesnt. I don't expect 2 FBs on the roster for game 4, but I do for maybe the first game or 2 till they see where they are at. The fact is Connor lost the job and Hyno is injured.They may simply have to delay a final decision for a few weeks due to injury.If Hyno is better they want to keep him, at the same time the offense is the run game right now, and they need a FB while he recovers.If his injury is serious or long term then they may IR him but frnakly it's smarter to simply keep 2 for now if it's minor and only keeps him out a week or 2.

The OL, well, I just don't see them going with 8, although it's not a horrid idea.It's clear Jerry can play.
Only real question is does Gaines Bump Brewer, and does Jerry's availability mean they can part with Mosely?I think the keep Mosely. I didn't keep Brown. I don't see why they would.Again, Gaines may take Brewers spot, or browns.If not then PS for him.

On defense it's been kind of set for awhile, but the fact is other than tonight Patterson did fuckall, , they Giants cut him early, and they may decide his act was the same shit as Tucks, a vet pulling some sacks at the last moment to justify his position, cause without the sacks tonigth you have to consider cutting him on what else was seen preseason. he was fucking awful. I don't need to see PFF numbers to know he sucked.Markus Kuhn who I have been a fan of also wasn't great preseason, but he has more upside than Patterson, and Patterson is broke down a bit. The reason I mention Kuhn and Patterson because I think there is an outside possibility the coaches want to keep either Wynn, who put up some numbers in preseason, or Idonije, who didn't really but looked good.I think Wyn simply goes to PS, but he could be a suprise move.There is a chance Idonije takes either Pattersons' or Kuhns' spot. Frankly I would consider giving him Pattersons' spot.For now I'm sticking with my picks though.

The Lbs aren't really much of a mystery, Fox doesn't make the roster, Beason WILL get activated, and they keep Herz because of special teams.

Safeties are cut and dry. They keep 4.

CBs are a tad interesting, do they Keep Fenner or Bennett?I could put them both on the practice squad,but the fact is they both did better than McBride, who really didn't do much.They could cuthim,or Hyno to keep Bennett on the active roster,or someone else to Keep Fenner, but frankly I think he's safe on the PS for now.

Bennet they may have to make room for, and That's what I see possibly being the wilds cards, is if the keep Wynn, or Gaines, or Bennett, or Fenner.If they do the cut candidates are Brown, Brewer, Kuhn, McBride,or Hyno, if they think he wont heal quick, otherwise Connor gets cut first.
