Wouldnt mind him replacing eli down the road. He's gonna be a good one. Hopefully Gardner has learned to not be Denard part 2 anymore. Just dont lose to app st again
Did I stay up like I did? Friday was a waste lol. If they had lost like last year I would have been pretty pissed. Looking forward to Penn St in a few weeks. Actual games that matter.
As for College football of I see one more fucking Wendy's smoked Gouda Chicken Sandwich commercial I may punch the next ginger I see.
As an alum, it's been...an adventure, to say the least...watching him kick. Glad he came up big. I knew UCF left too much time with State having 3 time outs. As mentioned above, I think Hackenberg will be a quality NFL QB, and by all rights should rewrite all of PSU's passing records by the time he leaves.
Nothing like opening the season by hoping that you lose by less than three touchdowns.
That's funny Greg.
UVA on the move. Their D has been excellent. Lots of pressure on Hundley. Only TD was a pick six when Lambert made a bad throw in the flat while being pressured.
Too early to tell for Lambert. But UVA has the same problem they've had for years: no downfield WR threats. Their offense has traditionally been smashmouth running behind a big OL, and short passes of one kind or another. Longer passes tend to be seam throws to TEs, not deep patterns to WRs. That makes the field very long, and requires long drives to get TDs, or even FGs. Who was the last UVA WR to do anything in the NFL? Herman Moore I think.
the OL will hopefully come together, they're usually a strength. And they've got a frosh they seem to like in Doni Dowling at WR. But typically WR is a weakness for the Hoos and has been as long as I've watched. Losing McGee sucked, he was as consistent a producer as we had last year.
that our offense has allowed more points than our defense. The other issue is that London's in-game adjustments typically suck so I would expect us to be outcoached in the 2nd half.
shit. Lambert throws another pick six. That's what happens when so much of your passing game is based on throws in the flat. Teams start sitting on the routes. That and the fact that it was a poor throw.
I don't know if I call it "guts." The platoon quarterback thing hasn't served us well these last few years. Maybe Jones is the answer, or maybe we're back to a QB carousel and a 4 win season.

He's going to be an improvement though. Borges was so bleh last year.
TE out of Michigan - Devin Funchess.

Don't look now, but UVA is playing alright and I am a VT fan.
This is a pretty funny post

Now a fumble return for a TD. Following an INT returned for a TD.
UCLA via Virginia offense: 14.
Virginia: 3.
You need to make 1 more correction. Its all good though

Are you fucking serious? Lambert with a shitty decision and a worse throw.

Sorry, we were looking for #87 Devin Funchess
