This doesn't mean that they're all good (or that they'll still be around after a few years), but given some of our recent ugly drafts (see the thread posted earlier regarding the 2012 draft), things may be looking up - at least draft wise.
Williams was an outright steal and Richburg a very solid pick. Kennard seems another steal and Bromley looks to be panning out as well. Now, if OBJ can get on the field we could have a real party.
that there are a lot of STUPID teams out there. Williams was the 10th RB selected. That means that there are at least 9 dumb bastid teams drafting running backs.
Williams ran for more yards than anyone else in college ball last season. The Giants are very lucky that there are so many stupid teams.
Williams could be the steal of the entire draft. And it's karma for David Wilson in a way.
whether he can develop as a pass catcher. BC never used him that way, but that doesn't necessarily mean he can't do it, as a lot of people seem to be saying. Either way, barring injury, Williams looks like a solid player for this team.
most of the draft picks make each year. It's what they do in years 2, 3, 4 etc that matter.
Eric, you're absolutely right. It's just the optimist in me hoping that JR and company may have hit it right this time. BTW, who else can't wait to see what OBJ will do on the field?
because I think he really did a number on his hamstring. I fear it may be a situation like Aaron Ross's -- especially if we try to bring him up to speed in 2014.
