The Giants can start signing players to Practice Squad starting at noon today if they have not been claimed off of waivers.
The Giants have signed the following players to the Practice Squad:
- RB Michael Cox
- WR Julian Talley
- OT Nick Becton (Chargers)
- DE Jordan Stanton
- LB Dan Fox
- CB Bennett Jackson
- CB Chandler Fenner
New England Patriots claimed DT Kelcy Quarles off of waivers.
Some claims: TJ Graham was claimed by the #Titans. DT Kelcy Quarles claimed by Patriots
Jordan Stanton @Jay_FiveSix 14m
officially signed on the practice squad w/ the New York Giants! beyond thankful for this amazing opportunity!
I don't think he even gets activated. Hankins, Jenkins and Patterson should be ahead of him and Bromley has actually shown more than Kuhn has.

roller-skates instead. He'll probably need a hip replaced by game 2.

Would not be surprised if he plays over Bromley, made it over Quarless already and Quarless was healthier adn played better.
I'm saying the worst 10 teams last year will probably stock up with a lot of players cut before we can get a chance to claim them.
Gmen were number 12 in order, that means 11 teams ahead of us could put a claim in on some player cut and we lose out. Like I said, all of the decent lineman and tight ends will be gone before we can get them.

ST value at bottom of roster. I have seen Kuhn on KOR unit.
Future starters are likely Hankins and Bromley.

made it. Pissed we let Quarles walk. Jenkins and Patterson are old. Probably going to use more draft picks on DT again.

They have to use more draft picks next year. Had a great prospect in Quarles with the hustle and attitude perfect for a D Lineman. Let him go for a do nothing. Very aggravating.
Michael Cox back on practice squad. And Giants also go get former Chargers OL Nick Becton.

Also with NYG PS: OT Nick Becton.
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. The Giants filled seven on their 10 available practice squad spots this afternoon. Six of the seven players signed today were waived by the team yesterday in the roster cutdown to 53.
The practice squad players who were with the Giants in training camp are: running back Michael Cox; cornerbacks Bennett Jackson and Chandler Fenner; linebacker Dan Fox; defensive end Jordan Stanton; and wide receiver Julian Talley.
The seventh player signed this afternoon was tackle Nick Becton, who was waived by San Diego in the cutdown to 75 players on Tuesday.
Becton, 6-5, 323 pounds, originally signed with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Virginia Tech on May 13, 2013. He spent most of his rookie season on the San Diego practice squad, although he was on the 53-man roster for six weeks last year and appeared in one game (at Oakland, 10/6).
scratch the open spot I can't count IMO
That was enough reason to keep Kuhn on the 53
I've told this story before, but here it is again: Former NFL TE Jamie Williams told me this story in roundtable interviews for "Any Given Sunday." When Williams as a rookie in the Giants training camp, there were two other rookie TEs: Zeke Mowatt and Malcolm Scott. The Giants heard one of their rookie TEs was involved with drugs. They thought it was Williams so they cut him and kept Scott. It was Scott.
Williams wasn't a mainly a pass-catching TE, not really the kind of TE Parcells liked, but Williams went on to a pretty nice career in the NFL, and Scott, well, Scott didn't.
Again: These moves get made for reasons we fans don't know about, and sometimes those reasons are bullshit.
I'll be here all week...
Btw its spelled puerile..
It's a good thing your opinion is about as valuable as monopoly money.
