Game Rewind - is it the Answer to Sunday Ticket?

pivo : 8/31/2014 11:24 am
Do any current Game Rewind subscribers have any critical comments about it?

I don't mind paying for Sunday Ticket but for the fact that DTV requires a regular subscription in order to get the internet version of Sunday Ticket. I live in the woods and can't get DTV HD, so I'm with Comcast Cable, which is fine. But I currently pay the $200 a year for the new "low end" Sunday Ticket + $500 per year for a non-HD DTV subscription which I NEVER use.

Game Rewind sounds like an attractive alternative with Condensed Games. Since NFLN is part of my Comcast package, I might not even need a GR subscription, but I can't remember if NFLN will run every game in condensed version throughout the year, or just selected ones.

Then again, for $29.95 a season, having your game available within 12 hours on GR is probably worth that much. Just wondering if there are any "Hidden Bummer Factors".
As long as you are willing to wait until the next day

to watch the games, its fine.

I keep it for research and studying purposes. It's better than the Sunday Ticket "Shortcuts" because the app has ALL games and not just the ones shown on DirecTV. Also, they are not bound by time constraints (30 minutes).

It is by no means an alternative to avoid Sunday Ticket. But if you want to catch up on the all the games from that week on a Monday or Tuesday, its a nice buy.

I was on the phone with DTV for about an hour yesterday to get my cost reduced & they gave me the 1st tier ST.TV price, but didn't budge on the regular subscription, because I can get DTV, just not the HD version. Maybe I'll try again. Thanks
You can get the live streaming for 180 from NFL.com

You just have to use a VPN to get an outside IP address from Europe.

WOW. I tried this link 3 times the past month, and each time I was denied. This time I was approved for Sunday ticket streaming. I just relocated to Philly for work, so now I can watch the a Giants at home. Today is a great day.
