j_rud, my man, you have soooo much more clicking to do.
I saw all of Uptons and browsed the rest, other than Lawrence I don't even know who any of them are. They're all great, bit there are one or two that really are jaw dropping. That's what a woman is supposed to look like. I don't want to see any ribs or have my woman not be able to sit on my lap because her bony ass hurts it. I want a woman who will say "I can really go for a big bloody steak and a cigar" who's built like a German highway. Some of those pics personify that.
1. apparently it's a kid who is doing this (15 years old) He didn't hack the cloud he purchased them on the "black market" (idk what one would call it) and he paid bit coins for it. Friday/Sat a lot of them went up for sale and he purchased a decent amount of the celebs.
2. He is taking a break after getting ip banned from the original site he was posting to and claims he'll be doing more in the morning and even included an amber heard teaser. Take with a grain of salt considing 1 AM and 3 AM he was going to release stuff.

Yeah I saw that, I think he has a twitter @TheFappening
and even if you don't open them, you get tagged for inappropriate content, so the BBI policy is fair to keep those people safe.
Having said that - there's a few spots in this thread where the directions are so clear that they might as well be a treasure map with footsteps and a big red X marked on it.
This is creepy and disgusting. I love enjoying the female form as much as the next guy (okay maybe not as much as some of you, Jesus...) but when it comes from a willing party.
Yes it is indeed dumb for such sought after women to store such racy photos in their phones knowing that said devices are easily hacked, but I think most of us have taken nudey pics of our girlfriends or had them sent to us and in the moment you're not thinking "shit I hope this doesn't get out". You take it and forget about it 5 minutes later. That understandable insouciance shouldn't mean their vags are now pasted across the world's computer screens.
It's very possible some of these (younger) chicks suffer some psychological harm from this. Not to mention that it really fucks with Verlander's private life.

As an aside, I think it's more likely that iCloud was hacked and not each of the individual phones themselves. That has some major implications for Apple and should have a lasting effect (although it probably won't) on how much people trust third parties with their data. It's one thing to snap photos in the moment, it's another to store them in someone else's cloud and trust them implicitly. Going with any brand that "makes things easier for you" at the cost of control and ownership is something people don't think about enough. Hopefully they do now.
the giggly tone throughout here is pretty striking against the moral high ground so many here falsely pride themselves in. I think your analogous comment about a nude pic of a girlfriend will ring hollow - most of these dusty dicks have never been on the receiving of that. That said, if you don't feel uneasy with this stuff, you don't have a ton of respect for the idea of privacy.
On an internet message board, and you're going to try and call out other peoples sex life. Get a grip.
I have zero problem saying I sought out the pictures and looked at them. Not to jerk off to them. Just for curiosity. I'm sure a lot of people feel the same way.
Unfortunately, whether I look at the pictures or not, they are no longer private. I don't feel guilty at all looking at the pictures as long as I'm not the one who spread them.
If I were a publicist for famous people

rule number one for my clients would be, "DON'T FUCKING PUT FUCKING NUDE PHOTOS AND VIDEOS ON YOUR FUCKING CELL PHONE!"
Me looking at them really doesn't make all that much of a difference in the grand scheme of things. I get that you're looking for an argument, but I feel like your hearts not even in it.
I think we all realize this isn't the moral thing to do. I just don't give a shit.

(I'll step down from the horse now).
I admitted in an earlier post that I felt creepy but Kate Upton? I couldn't help myself. If there is a god he himself checked it those pics, nodded in approval, and said "Yup, thatthat I was going for. To be honest I only looked at the Upton and Lawrence pics, I don't even know who any of those other women are.
On one hand, I understand how completely messed up and creepy this all was when it comes to an invasion of privacy. But when I heard it was out there, I definitely wanted to check it out. Like AGF said, not to JO to them because there's actual porn for that but just out of curiosity for the trainwreck that was happening in front of us.
Guess that makes me a bit of a hypocritical creep, oh well. I accept that hypocrisy is a part of life. I understand how what I did wasn't morally correct but I'm cool with my decision to check out the pics.
Odds are pretty high that someone you don't want to is going to see them. Even if you're not particularly good looking, this is so.
If you're an attractive celebrity, the chance someone is going to see them is much much higher. You'd think anyone who has used a computer recently would know this.
If you don't want people to see naked pictures of you...don't take those naked pictures or allow them to be taken. Failing that, don't put them on a machine easily reachable over the network or on a device that will upload them to such a machine.
This whole episode has made me wonder if "IT security consultant to the stars" wouldn't be a great way to make truckloads of cash while performing a valuable service.
And pictures leaking are two completely different animals.
I also don't understand this "Short skirt, she was asking for it" equation to a woman taking nude pictures which resulted in them getting leaked. "You might possibly get raped if you walk around a sketchy neighborhood naked" seems like a more fit analogy. It shouldn't happen, but it can. So be careful.
While on the topic. Can we stop pretending like women don't dress a certain way to show off what they have? It's an epidemic.
I wear a man tank for the sole purpose of showing off Zeus and Apollo. I'm wearing short shorts to turn eye contact into thigh contact with the ladies.
If I'm looking to charge tickets to the Gun Show then I conceal them with a regular shirt.
than most of us would like to admit. It took a criminal act to get those photos, and arguably a criminal act to disseminate them initially. Whether or not taking naked pictures is always the smartest move it is ubiquitous. Would you guys be as excited if someone stole your phone and suddenly pictures of your wives or girlfriends started popping up on the internet?
And as for the notion that your click does no additional harm maybe it doesn't, but we don't accept the idea that there is no additional victimization with each mouseclick when it comes to child pornography (and no, I'm not suggesting that this is anywhere near the same stratosphere as a moral issue) because the wider the dissemination, the worse it is for the person photographed.
If this doesn't raise at least SOME qualms in you, I don't know what to tell you.
It isn't like you take them with the intent of keeping them for yourself. Granted, the intended audience I don't imagine is the entire internet, but once they're stored on a server that isn't physically yours and is connected to the internet all bets are off.
I'm not saying it is right. As was pointed out, stealing this stuff was a criminal act.
I guess what I'm saying is, I don't really know what to think. It gives me some pause, as I'm sure my gf would be mortified if say, her parents or clients saw some of the awesome media we've taken...but then again, she's not an actress or model- so that's really a different animal altogether- their privacy as a public figure is much different that ours- which is more than likely why you don't see reactions on this thread that you would expect to see if it was just random hot chicks who's angry ex boyfriends "leaked" photos/videos.
IIRC, years ago there were pics taken by paparazzi of Hillary Duff giving her bf a hummer after he proposed (taken from the street). I don't recall anyone feeling sorry for her or bemoaning the invasion of her privacy.
Either way, if you're proud of your body and exploits, well...fuck it.
Being that most of these chicks make money on their sex appeal, they should be getting a cut of any profits, tho. If you're good at something, you never do it for free.

And I think the lesson is that being contrarian can work on occasion, because there is simply no way that the mind the conceived of blaming a woman for where her ex-boyfriend has a tat and her choice of profession came to the correct conclusion about the women in this case.

Can't tell if you're talking about Overseer, Nitro, or me.
It's enlightening to see where Nitro stands on these issues.
A woman is savagely beaten and deformed, eh who cares, it's her own fault.
The personal files of celebrities are broken into and posted online, this is creepy and disgusting and everyone's reaction is deplorable.
It's completely understandable if you stop expecting to see any logic or morality behind it, and view it simply as an opportunity for Nitro to troll and berate BBI for being old (apparently).
I'd say you two divined pretty much all there is to say about me

But I'm ashamed to admit I can't find these fucking pictures online. Goddamnit.
Internet fail.
I know, embarrassing. But are they still up? I found 2 links that are now bad, including the 1 on barstool sports.
yeah and someone has taken the time to basically point out everything in the photos to the contrary.
Hints on where to go and what to search for...that's more of a gray area, but direct links will get you a trip to the penalty box.

There really is no turning back from that once that is leaked.

You and Overseer FTW.
Can't tell if you're talking about Overseer, Nitro, or me.
Please be more clear.
I don't think there are many great trolls here. BBI is just very generous and quick to bite.
So not true, tho. Fapping is as good as endust.
I am anxiously waiting for Nitro's view on the morality of looking at Verlander's ass - asking for a friend...
It's enlightening to see where Nitro stands on these issues.
A woman is savagely beaten and deformed, eh who cares, it's her own fault.

As far as Verlander, it's clear where he gets that Cy Young award-winning power, and its those meaty haunches. Yowza.
