offensive, scoring defenseman to a stay at home guy allowing Dave Maloney to flourish. Good leader too.

But they still got fleeced in that deal. It was the worst trade the Cat ever made. Hadfield for Nick Beverly was a close second.

Rick Middleton for Kenny Hodge was even worse.

way too young. I thought the trade was horrible at the time and looking back it was much worse. Park and Ratelle had great success with Boston and fat Phil was a liability every time he stepped on the ice for the Rangers. Vadnais was a good player but not half the player Park was. The Cat must have been sniffing glue that day.
