He's a vastly better receiver than the others - better routes, better speed, better hands (way better hands). The gap between him and the other two as a receiver is huge. As blockers, they are all mediocre. If you want to say Robinson is the 3rd best blocker I wouldn't argue, but the differences between them all just aren't that great. They all miss some blocks, they all make some blocks, Robinson makes more than claimed and the others less. None of them is Mark Bavaro as a blocker. If you put the number 99 on all their uniforms and watched the tape of them as blockers, I bet most people couldn't tell them apart. As receivers you could tell the difference right away.
The continual burying of Robinson on the depth chart makes me think that we'll never have a primarily receiving TE as long as Coughlin is here, despite all the talk about how the Giants now realize it is a passing league.
If only he would be given a chance...
He's totally not just some scrub never was that will likely be out of the NFL next year when his rookie deal is finally up and the Giants cut ties with him.
But he's on the team, so we have to hope he can finally produce. He did have two nice catches at the end of the Colts game. It's sad that's all we can cite as a positive, but there it is.
not bright
don't have a te coach now
Lol this were the days
well that criteria is nearly fool-proof...

Here are some of the players available at 127 that played in bigger conferences/prominent teams and were productive in college:
134: Greg Childs: Good WR at Arkansas. 0 receptions in the NFL
147: Tank Carder: Major factor at LB in a great TCU defense. 9 tackles in the NFL
159: Chris Rainey: Dynamic playmaker at Florida. 160 yards from scrimmage in the NFL
194: Marvin McNutt: 82/1315/12 his last year at Iowa. 0 receptions in the NFL
These are a few of the guys that I remember from college who were picked after Robinson. Maybe there are some more. Of course there are only like 3 or 4 actual NFL contributors (non-kickers) in the 100 or so picks after Robinson, so it's going to be really tough to find a good NFL player who meets your criteria for selection.
