I can't believe I am making this thread already. Summer came and went and here we are getting ready to pick our survivor candidate.
No week is ever easy in survivor but the first 3-4 weeks are particularly challenging in that you have a lot of rust being shaken off of each team. New systems are being tested (Giants), new coaches are calling the shows and each team is starting off the season on a level playing field.

For one of my pools, picks need to be in by the end of the day today.
I have changed my methodology each year on how I want to approach the season. The last few seasons I have only worried about picking a team to win that week, that's it. Other years I have tried to plot out paths for my picks, but found that each team is too volatile to try and plan too far ahead.
I usually try to avoid divisional games and away teams.
For week 1, I like Philadelphia (-10) and Chicago (-6.5). If I was so inclined to choose a divisional game, then I would look at Pitt (-6.5) and NO (-3).
What are everyone's thoughts this week?
2- Not too sure how good steelers will be so i rather get them out of the way early.
