Can't wait for this game

should be a good one. I am particularly interested to see out old friend Nicks, and what he does.
Think they may talk
dep026 : 9/7/2014 7:36 pm : link
about Luck replacing Manning at all?
Maybe just a little

I bet they talk about Manning playing his old team more.
If Peyton can replicate his 2013
Osi Osi Osi OyOyOy : 9/7/2014 7:46 pm : link
this year, I will forever leave the Tom Brady bandwagon and just concede that Peyton is better and the GOAT. It would be amazing if he followed up his 2013 with another epic season, especially if he actually wins it all this year.

Andrew Luck is such a beast. Going to be fun watching him develop this year. That's a run first offense but it seems like they have stronger WR talent than RB talent, so maybe opening it up for Luck this year would be wise.

Peyton is amazing, but I have a hard time saying he's the GOAT given his playoff record.

I hated the son-of-bitch and was glad two of the hardest hits he ever took was from the Giants, but I can't see how Peyton is ahead of Joe Montana.

But that's just my opinion.
We are going to really miss Hakeem tonight
UberAlias : 9/7/2014 7:51 pm : link
I fear.
yea I guess GOAT is impossible
Osi Osi Osi OyOyOy : 9/7/2014 7:55 pm : link
to determine. Without getting into "clutch", Montana's ability to move outside of the pocket and make great throws is a skill that Peyton doesn't have and it's a big one. It's why you could argue that Rodgers is a more dangerous QB than Peyton right now. But Peyton is just such a beast. Year after year he is in the MVP discussion.

The playoff record is tough to overlook. How can Peyton be the best ever if his teams come up small so often in the big games? It's a valid point and keeps Peyton from being considered "football Jordan".

But in terms of the regular season, he's the GOAT without much debate imo.
Haha. I never noticed this before but
Kulish29 : 9/7/2014 7:55 pm : link
Matt Ryan looks a lot like Kevin the page from 30 Rock.

Agreed about the regular season. If it was just based on the regular season, no contest.

I'm not sure how you compare legacy QBs from modern ones.
NJ_GIANTS : 9/7/2014 8:05 pm : link
The league is so offensively favored. The refs call everything for the offense. Could you imagine marino, Montana, kelly, elway, or other greats playing in today's nfl?
Yeah...
Eric from BBI : Admin : 9/7/2014 8:08 pm : link
Dan Marino is this era? Yikes.

Yeah, how do you compare Ken Stabler to any elite QB today? Totally different game, different styles of play. Scoring started getting crazy in the mid to late 90's and FF has driven it up and up with rule changes favoring passing and so forth.
Nothing

Hakeem does tonight or for ever more is going to make me sorry we didn't resign him. He mailed it in completely the last year and a half he was here.

If it was based on regular season then Romo would be in the conversation as well

So do we get the pick?

amen.
Few are more loyal than TC and I'd venture few are quicker to turn their back on a player who dials it in

...he's got to be on the roster past Game 4 for the pick to come into play.
Marvin Austin with the pressure on Luck there

ugh.
I would have went for
dep026 : 9/7/2014 8:37 pm : link
it on 4th and 1. Dont like the throw on 3rd down. Dont like the decision to go for a FG.

You need TDs, not field position.
McManus with the FG
Kulish29 : 9/7/2014 8:49 pm : link
Reese failed.
I'm surprised that didn't get a flag
WeatherMan : 9/7/2014 8:49 pm : link
on 3rd and goal.
Going up against
dep026 : 9/7/2014 8:49 pm : link
Manning, Ball, and Sanders. Me likey seeign McManus.

Luck.
horrid pass by Luck there into coverage

see, guys? other quarterbacks do screw up.
Awful throw by Luck
dep026 : 9/7/2014 8:57 pm : link
playing right into Peytons hand. Richardson needs a few more carries. He is actually looking good.
Holy fuck
dep026 : 9/7/2014 8:58 pm : link
why is Stan still here.
Stan's just upset that he couldn't have
Exit 172 : 9/7/2014 9:01 pm : link
blown his Griffin vs. Luck prediction any worse.
Peyton scrambles for a first
PetesHereNow : 9/7/2014 9:01 pm : link
called back on the offsetting penalties, lol at watching him run though
helluva pass from Big Bro to Thomas
PetesHereNow : 9/7/2014 9:02 pm : link
there.
Manning the master
Stan from LA : 9/7/2014 9:09 pm : link
That's how you do it.

And they gave him away for NOTHING.

Idiots.

Feel like ive seen alot of pi/hold calls where the offensive player nevertheless made the play. Like more than ive ever seen before.
Its absolutely amazing....
dep026 : 9/7/2014 9:10 pm : link
that a single poster like Stan can ruin an entire thread, everytime he posts in it.

And yet he is still allowed to post.

Just ignore him. Most people finally are. #ignorestan
You want Stan to go away?
Exit 172 : 9/7/2014 9:13 pm : link
Ask him if the Packers have egg on their faces by choosing Rodgers over Favre, like he predicted they would.

(There. He won't be back now.)
He is here for one reason
BigBlueShock : 9/7/2014 9:14 pm : link
and one reason only. He contributes literally nothing positive to this site.

How is that not bannable, when he's only here to fan the flames?

Bradshaw sighting

Painful seeing him and Tuck out there in different uniforms, although it was necessary for both to move on.
This game may be over

if Denver scores a TD here.

Rodgers was even proven pedestrian when he lost Baluga on the O-line. He also had bad throws on a couple of screens.
