They could have started fresh with new coaches and even a new GM, and they didn't. Gilbride was the one token sacrifice, and even he retired. I don't see the talent or the coaching. Where's the plan? Did they have one? This team looks as lost as last year's team. We had a chance to start over and the Giants ownership didn't take it. Well, looking at this team tonight, I'd say 4-12 is a serious possibility.
Jernigan and Beatty are all just awful. This OL needed to be fixed. Obvious that did not happen.
OTOH, this is only game 1. The offense is a WIP. But now the Defense needs to be fixed too. No pass rush when we need it. Decent against the run, but Stafford has torn us apart all game.
