@RavensInsider: There's guarded optimism, per sources, about status of Ravens safety Will Hill, who's two games into six-game substance-abuse suspension
somewhere Will Hill is lighting up a fat blunt right now Â
Are you serious? I certainly didn't want Will Hill going anywhere. He was my favorite player back at UF and was ecstatic when the Giants signed him, but what do you expect Reese to do? Can't keep a guy on the roster that failed 3 drug tests in 3 years. I know pot is harmless and it was stupid to have such a low threshold, but those were the rules and Will seemed to not give a fuck about them. Gotta set an example for the rest of the team, incoming draft picks and free agents that you can't do whatever you want and keep getting a pass because you are a good player. Trust me I am pissed that Will is gone, but I understand why Reese did what he did.
If the agreement is reached regarding new marijuana thresholds, than this is a fuck up by Reese. One can assume that every GM in the NFL is aware that the Players Union has been fighting for higher thresholds and that these new testing thresholds were a possibility of coming down the pipe.
Will Hill did not beat his wife or child. The NFL's position on marijuana is archaic. It's currently fully legal in at least 2 states, multiple states have approved its medical use and there are drug companies spending billions on cannabis R&D. In 10 years, it will be legal in half the states in the U.S. and this conversation will be considered ludicrous.
Is a piece of shit and I'm glad he isn't on the team anymore. The notion that Reese dukes up because should have known that a vote/agreement was coming down the "pipe" is an absurd argument.
It isn't just drugs with Hill. He has a wanton disregard for right and wrong.
Welker might be allowed to play Sunday; a precedent?
