wins this easy. Always a shot Maidana catches Mayweather, but highly unlikely. I'll score the fight on here but, i'm not expecting anything nearly as close as last time.
Is it really necessary to both sing and play the Mexican national
Fighters make the mistake of fighting mayweather's fight. He sets the angle, other fighters follow, which also means he gets the drop on the counter punch or escape. Basically he sets the tone on making you look stupid.
To beat him you have to be unpredictable, instead of stepping forward, step to the side. Instead of defending, throw. All these fighters lose these fights by boxing him instead of going out on their shields. Mayweather is great but is not unbeatable. Fighters just need to stop boxing his fight. If you make it into a war and get knocked out, so be it. But at least you'd have a shot.
beating marquez and canelo mean nothing as well. Didnt marquez beat pacquiao and give him trouble every time???
Did you watch the PBF-JMM fight? Mayweather came in past the weight limit and paid a fat JMM to get beaten. To finally beat Pacquiao JMM got a new trainer in his late 30s and became ripped. Same trainer who has been connected to PEDs for years.
Canelo was too young and inexperienced and Floyd took advantage.
The Leonard-Hagler-Hearns triumvirate this ain't.
I think most of us still want to see Pac/PBF but let's be realistic
Floyd would have been annihilated by Sugar Ray Robinson, Sugar ray Leonard,
Hitman Hearns, Roberto Duran, Marvin Haglar, Emile Griffith, any many many more
RE: tatterbug you obviously haven't seen the great fighters fight

sugar ray robinson was born in 1921. so no, i didn't see him box, lmao! but i did see the others listed.
47-0 with 26 KOs means Floyd has fought ALOT of rounds of boxing. and i can only name 3 or 4 times that he's actually been caught with a shot! thats super impressive to me. Zab caught him, Shane caught him, couple others.
what makes you think Haglar, Leonard would have even hit him once???

While I don't think Floyd is the GOAT (mainly because he isn't aggressive enough) he is absolutely the most skilled pure boxer that I've ever seen.
Of the guys you've named, (aside from the puncher's chance that any good boxer would have) only Robinson and Leonard would stand a chance, IMO. Floyd easily handles the more aggressive fighters and is a master at getting guys to fight his fight.
*I haven't seen enough Griffith fights to have an opinion and I've only seen tapes of Robinson
the person.. i love Mayweather Jr the fighter, solid win last night. Floyd could have had maybe 2 to 4 tougher fights in his 47 fight career. Oh well, still the best pound for pound boxer of all time. Greatest defensive fighter by a long shot, hand speed second to none. If he gets to 50-0 with solid wins like last night then give him the GOAT title or his preference "TBE"... the best ever. And for those of you holding on to him "ducking fights" you all have your points but what do you make of a older Mayweather fighting and dominating a undefeated Alvarez who looked better than Paul Williams or Antonio Margarita ever looked prior to the fight with Floyd..?

Did you watch those guys fight? Leonard and Mayweather is an all-time fight but an angry Ray Leonard was a force of nature. Hagler would've fought the Maidana style except maybe 100 times better. If Hagler could take Tommy Hearns' best shots, he would walk through Mayweather. Floyd would be boxing his ass off from Round 1.
It's hard to go against Sugar Ray Robinson. He fought so many great fighters. He was virtually unbeatable as a welterweight and great enough to win the middleweight title.
He also fought for the light heavyweight title against Joey Maxim and was way ahead after 12 rounds but couldn't answer the bell in round 13 due to exhaustion. Joey Maxim had wins over Floyd Patterson and Jersey Joe Walcott. Robinson was retired for 3 years in his prime and won the middleweight title after that.
Of course it is.
eeeeee
We're not done yet

view at your own risk. its working for me tho.

Haha, you can't be serious...
No. He ducked too many guys. He would've had to fight Sugar Ray back in the 80s, and Ray had a Jordan-esque sociopathic need to win..
being up 5-1 = trouble??
The important thing is he ducked Pac in his prime
He's a great fighter, but a protected great fighter.
floyd is just perfect with his boxing skills. you can't argue that
He's a great fighter, but a protected great fighter.
name one top fighter he COULD HAVE fought
I would.
I would.
man, me too. don't sell yourself short tho. he made 70+ million the last fight

Exactly why Floyd will fight him now. He's just a better fighter. Bigger, faster, stronger, better technically and defensively.
yall do realize Floyd is two years older than Pac, right.
people act like Pac don't have 5 losses and 2 draws.
Pac not messing with Floyd
He hasn't had one win that is GOAT level.

Yeah, that way he wouldn't actually have to fight him.
Do you enjoy rooting for a degenerate, woman beating coward.
