... I'm just praying it happens ... offense gets a little rhythm going... up tempo... some quick hits in the short passing game, some solid 4 yard runs, couple of screens ... I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Perfect, cool early fall morning. Giants on at 1pm. Pumpkin beer on ice. Stew in the crockpot.
Don't ruin this, Giants. Let's get a fucking win.
Since I no longer drink, I am not up on things..What is pumpkin beer?
56, it's gotten pretty popular in the past few years. It's usually an ale with pumpkin spices (ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, etc). Comes out Sept to Nov. Some brands are phenomenal.
Dan Williams vs. J.D. Walton match-up concerns me.
people can have issues with LT, RT, OG or whatever... the giants line (and ELI) has had the greatest issues with the absence of a solid center. O'hara was great until he got long in the tooth... we got one good run out of a beat up Baas... otherwise its been brutal. Walton has shown very little in the ability to 1) hold the point of attack 2) make line calls 3) give Eli a pocket.
If we had an above average center our OL issues would be significantly less even with the existing tackle and guard tandems.
So yes i will be watching this matchup closely as I see the C as the key position for the entire line with the giants.... lets hope Walton is just shaking off rust... otherwise id rather actually see what Richburg can do at C... and put Moseley and Jerry at guard... not because they are good, but i am most concerned with OC.
I was hoping Walton could be the center he was 3 years ago, and give Richburg time to develop, but the G-Men might have to pull the trigger and move Richburg to C in order to not have a start like last year.
RE: Football is a funny thing ... OL could come together out of nowhere Â

Look who it is! RT @RapSheet: QB Carson Palmer will not play today. He tested his shoulder out and couldn’t go. It’s Drew Stanton.
If Eli throws two or three ducks that are run back for touchdowns, even if the O-line is in part responsible, half this board is going to be screaming for Nassib, claiming that his game and agility are more suited to a WC offense. I would much prefer that the O-line hold and that Eli and his receivers be in sync, even if the we lose. A QB controversy could doom the season, worse than last year's 0-6 start.
but they don't want to deal with the circus. Their owner is pretty media-sensitive and conservative. I don't even think they play certain types of music in the stadium on gameday.

Anybody matched up against J.D. Walton concerns me. The OL overall is suffering from a lack of talent, lack of experience, and lack of chemistry. That is not a trifecta you want to hit. But we did. Thanks Jerry!
This is the time for playing, not talking. Also agree that we need to see some emotion. Get angry, hit people, get motivated and play some football. Do some yelling, just play with some spirit for crying out loud.
Cruz, if you want the damn ball, catch the damn ball. Show something and that goes for all the receivers The coaches should not hesitate to pull some chump who is stinking it up and try somebody else. I can live with a loss, barely, if I know they laid it all out and quite frankly AREN'T that good. Another disaster, start benching/firing people.

I disagree. Even though BBI implodes, the NY Giants, specifically Coughlin will not be stupid enough to make a QB change. I just don't see Eli falling apart. (Unless he gets injured.)

Let's have a good game
We need it
Is Palmer a game time decision?
Beatty is probably a bit rusty coming off the leg injury. He should improve.
Pride
Power
Passion
time to step up and make some plays men!!
The guy I wanted over JPP

here's hoping you have like 1000 fingers...

Still need to be balanced, but face the facts...Eli and receivers are going to have some longish' down and distances, and somebody has to make plays.
why shouldn't they struggle?

I'd be really disappointed if they did.

detroits front is one of best in football arizona's isnt
Which ones do you like best? Prefer to avoid sweetness, personally.
They don't want the backlash of playing the guy now that his crimes earned him a story in Time magazine.

are paying Hardy. They're stupid for sitting him. Play him until the league suspends him.

Ok I guess. But isn't he on that ridiculous franchise tag salary? That's crazy
To get that and not play.

Blue Point is probably my favorite. I like Smuttynose a lot too.

Agreed. And it's a home game for us.
