That Russel Wilson just " does what he needs to in order to win games" ..
It's simply said but The Giants just need to do whatever they need to in order to win this games...refuse to be defeated...hoping for a big W today and the Giants refusing to lose.
it is harder to enjoy the NFL every year. The way the game is marketed and called is just not enjoyable. It has devolved into something that closely resembles two gladiators whacking each other with plastic swords.
They get the ball on the .5 yard line, they'll pound it in. If they don't convert, they'll go for it on 4th and pound it in. now this cracker jack box offense has to play from behind.
Wow his knee is clearly down before he even turned Â
No TD.....,but we suck ass on D. JPP only guy that came to play today. If they score, it will be an extremely long day.......and we're staring at 0-2 and here we go again crap.
regarding the McClain penalty. Everybody else on the field pulled up but him and then he violently nailed the QB who was defenseless. Can't do it, regardless of what else is going on in the league. A penalty every time in any year.
They let AZ walk down the field for four minutes and score. Now, unless the offense can immediately get something going, they will be right back on the field. They need to start forcing punts and getting turnovers.

Yeah, our offense is so impotent, close games at the half are blowouts by the end of the third. thus why we get blown out in 1 out of every 3 games.
Sucks ass can't wait until the entire fucking coaching staff is overhauled. Preach disipline, have non. Terrible fucking D for 4 years even during the Super Bowl run.
easily move right down the field. No sooner do I decide they are looking good on offense and Eli throws a pick. One of those picks that you know it's gonna be a pick right before it leaves his hands.
I'll say this. It's apparent to me this offense is gonna work. It's also apparent Eli is fucking up.I think confidence comes next anbd in a game or 2 I think they settle down.
GWG predicts this offense starts clicking by game 5.You heard it here first.
maybe we need to fire some coaches on defense. At some point you can't keep using these excuses....How many different players have we put through this system with the same results..
pretty good segment on the new rules by Mike Carrey on Showtime NFL show a few weeks back. Many flags will be thrown this year, and for teams with crack coordinators, like ours it will be a long year
Of all the penalties so far that call on Prince was brutal and idiotic. It's clearly a pick. The receiver has him completely engaged, he is back-peddling, and short of get pushed over there nothing he can do. That should be called on the offense every time. That has nothing to do with emphasis or rule changes, that is shit as officiating.
the Giants don't look physically outclassed like they did vs DET.
I'm telling ya, Giants are gonna win this week.Story is gonna be how the offense helped overcome a mistake filled defensive effort and next week it's gonna be fewell, not eli on the hot seat.
Jennings is type of back that gets better as the game goes on Â
I may start betting against the Giants... this offense isn't doing anything with this line. What's wrong with the defense, I don't understand considering some of the talent that we have.
He's banking on interceptions ...that sack was ALL on Eli, and I never blame Eli for anything......he's forgiven but needs to get his head out of his ass
like Jerry got beat. Eli being totally immmobile and the WRs not getting separation didn't help either. That play summarized everything bad with our O. Truly awful. Can't run. Can't pass. The blocking is nonexistent, and there are frequent miscommunications by the OL.
Our zone is getting completely played. We are executing perfectly, no one is blow assignments, no one is mis-communicating. We are getting picked to shit.
Reese must go. Coughlin will take the fall too. The team has marginal talent. Eli, Cruz, Rolle, DRC, Beason, JPP, etc are good players, but they're not good enough without help. JPP looked all world, but had Tuck and Osi on that team. Cruz had Nicks and Manningham. So, the team has too many holes and not enough standouts. We are looking at top 5 draft selection next season. The only question, who will be the head coach? Cowher?

Or, more likely, the Giants have had a few really embarrassing performances against bad/back-up QBs and people let them cloud the overall picture.
What overall picture are you talking about? That the Giants have a history and tradition of putting bad teams away? That the Giants are known for destroying back up QBs? That history that every Giants fan of 50 years knows all about?
Gunslinging motherfucker. he's 10 of 12 right now. Telling you, we gonna win this. This offense is gonna be OK. He still gonna fuck upo with the turnovers for another couple of weeks, but then he;ll settle down.
Real question is can Feqwell unscrew himself, and is DRC gonna continue to give up huge chucks of yardage to the opponents top receivers
Foote being chippy again ... somebody needs to clock him Â
Randle has obvious physical skill and has everything needed to succeed in this league. That was a tremendous route, left himself plenty of space and totally played one of the best DBs, if not the best DB in the NFL.

It helps that Randle and Peterson were college teammates and good friends
Beautiful fucking drive, showed confidence poise Â
and mastery. Was quite clear to me he was announcing to the league he is here to play ball in 2014.That drive was a very clear statement. Like tom jones once said "you either get it or you don't."Anyone still think we gonna lose today?
You can't make fun of me later if you don't call it now.
BTW I'm off my meds again so I should be pretty easy to bait.
Has anyone else noticed that the 4pm game on Fox Â
Not only is he a shit coordinator running an obselete system but we have invested a ton of resources in man-to-man cover corners whos skills are a waste in this system

I would not have an issue with Fewell going somewhere else to practice his trade.

I just don't get the calls. Why was he trying at that to blitz the QB, to try and force a TO near the Giants endzone. Very weird point in the game to try to get aggressive.
On our defense....we blitz they have an answer........I don't see our defense stopping them when they need points.
On offense, once again we get 1 drive out of Eli per half. This is a recurring theme, usually the last drive of the half, the running game continues to be 3 yards and a cloud of dust
drive. And even that was mostly dink and dunk. You just get the impression that there is no explosion to this offense. The rest sucked. No real running game, even on the TD drive. Endless miscommunications between the OL, and Eli and the receivers. D has been burned too many times with Stanton at QB. The difference is that their OL is doing a much better job than ours.
Had a monster first half. Still turning the ball over, and back to shrugging it off. That's a good thing.Remember he turned the ball over 6 times in a game once and we won.
Good teams find a way to win.I think this team has been challenged and I think their pride is stung and they want to show the world they know how to play football.DRC still makijng mistakes, he seesm to be exactly what we were warned he was, both good and bad. Eli is back to being Eli, getting it done.Throwing for over 85% completion so far.If the defense can settle the fuck down I think the offense can bring this home.seems to me a lot of games are going to come down to the gameplay of DRC. It's alos apparent that Prince, not DRC is our top cornerback. They are challenging DRC, not prince, same as last week. Opponents showing Amukamara more respect than Cromrartie.
No reason Giants shouldn't win this game.
it's clear from 2 drives that this offense can work, and that Manning does in fact have a grasp of it.Remember Eli Iron man is coming back from surgery himself. He needs to knock the rust of and reestablish some confidence.A confident Eli can fuck up tom brady, Aaron rodgers, Kapernick, Farve, whoever else you wanna drag out there.Eli has his Mojo today. He's not ready to go quietly into the night just yet.
Willing to bet he's throwing the ball better than any other QB in the NFL today.
If Fewell doesn't screw us and DRC stops being a bonehead we get a win today.

Redskins 21-7. Mercedes Lewis with a long TD.
I'll take 12 of 14 passing. It's a start. And frankly but for the turnovers the offense has been moving the ball.
The problem is that it's damn near the entire offense. At some point, you have to at least make the other team fear that you'll throw the ball downfield.
He was sharp. Only 1 TO, it's about completing drives and putting points up......we are 7, and once again we can't make half-time adjustments. Three and out

Bullshit your blind. was 2 mice drives he moved right down the field, executed well on the first one right up until he shit the bed. You can't tell when somethign working you not so smart teh football man that you think you are. This offense is humming dude.they gonne be just fine. 90 yd drive i dont give a fuck if its dink and dunk and who gives a shit as long as we score.
I tell you what, I was gonna say it in preseason but I didn't because it was tyoo soon, but I was thinking it. Ugly ball. If ugly ball is back we are unstioppable. Noone plays uglyball like the giants. we played uglyball all the way to 2 SB trophys, so I hope uglyball is back.
get a penalty on the same play we block a punt. Great play by Jennings. Agree that after the penalty, it's about the same as if the punt was never blocked.
are calling the game and the ways the Ref's are calling it. It actually is that far fetched to think it is fixed. I've never seen a worse officiated game ever. There's been at least 5-6 terrible calls you wouldn't think an nfl ref would make for AZ alone. About 3-4 No calls that were obvious. And 1 bad call in the giants favor.
is getting there along with the Oline. Just a few more weeks...
This is a good building block. Also, now the offense can see the light at the end of the tunnel. So this offense does and can work.
We just need the OL and Wrs to do their thing. When given time, Eli has shown he can make very good throws. If our guys can get open, our offense can go from shitty to functional, to actually good.
reminds me of how he played during the two super bowl runs. Very crisp, aside from the one interception which IMO was kind of a flukey play. Hit a lineman's shoulder pad, bounces in the air, cruz falls down and isn't even looking for the ball, bounces off the linebackers hands into the air and back into his hands...
Aside from that play it's been all good from Eli. The run game sucks but at least they're not giving up on it.
At this point y even bother having corners if they arent allowed to play just make it so that the offense plays against no one we know goodel would love games that are 350-349
Tops that ridiculous Game vs the Rams years ago with the horrid calls. Remember "Tackling by the helmet" was actually called on us for a 15 yard penalty in that game?
I noticed that too. With the way the game is now, I would instruct that. If you attack the Cbs leverage, maybe he does, as a reflex contact the WR/TE. So it's not a bad tactic to try.
was anyone paying attention to the officiating changes in preseason?
apparently not. Watch that Mike Carey segment on Showtime NFL show and discussion around pass interference. Ed Reed was shaking his head. I was stunned. Seems like they can influence games greatly now, which is likely what they want anyway.
They all thought that first guy was going to bring him down and simply quit on the play. Hard to get back up to speed against a guy with his speed once you let down.
The league is a disgrace. This loss was not the teams fault. It was the fault of ridiculous and/or crooked calls. Roger Goodell and his greed are to blame. I hope Goodell is fired. I then hope he jumps off a bridge.
If the punter has to make a tackle everyone else on the coverage failed. Weatherford also has torn ligaments in his ankle so expecting him to take down Ted Ginn at full speed is a bit much to ask
didn't miss the tackle, and Quinn didn't fumble the ball. Some of you are ridiculous. A Coaches job is to prepare their football team to win a game, and put the players in the best situation to succeed. Each horrible play has fallen on the players not the coaches.
RE: Home game against the Cardinals with Henson starting. Â
Those of you that thought we were going to win this game. Fools. What have you seen in two years to give you the impression that we were going to win. Eli's completion percentage. The sun shines on a dogs ass once in awhile. I came into this game knowing we were going to lose. Hence, I am not mad or upset. LOL. Funny seeing which way each week we will lose .. bwahahaha.
The Cruz drop....the PR against us....and the fumble.....But the reality is....no running game...no big plays...no forced turnovers....let a back up QB be you at home.....this is not about 3 plays...this is about a poorly coached team, lack of talent......and lack of aggressive play

His unit has been terrible for ages now. For a coach who preaches accountability it doesn't really seem to stretch to his coaching staff. The FO has had to crowbar coaches out, but somehow Quinn has escaped.
It's not luck it's lack of talent, focus call it what you will. It's the same thing that causes perennial bottom dwellers like the Jags and Browns to continue to shit the bed.
We need to properly clean house at the end of the season. Whatever he's preaching just isn't getting through anymore. You can't just keep him in position because of previous success, the team has been poor for too long now.
Notice, they don't get into bush league, kill the clock offense.
great play call by Arians.
if it was us we'd try killing the clock. Great call.
Would have been a great call if it went incomplete and stopped the clock for us? How about if the rookie te tipped it up in the air and we picked it? How about if Stanton got sacked?
Notice, they don't get into bush league, kill the clock offense.

I agree, I hate that playing not to lose mindset we seem to have at times
I despise that type of playcalling. Just run your fucking offense the way that got you the lead. More over, the penalties in the secondary means throw more. Either you get a penalty or get a completion.
These guys play football but don't appear to be football players; their just the best of a bad bunch to chose from.
BTW: AZs best tackler today was the turf.
They are not good enough yet to win a game. They're not talented enough to continue to make one mistake after another and still win. There's a losing feeling around this team now that only a complete housecleaning can fix, sadly.
Should've punted the ball instead of going for it. Have a time out and the 2 min warning and you're essentially giving up the game with a miss on fourth.
Bu qb...playing early game on the east coast...to them they started this game at 10 AM.......tons of injuries and......wow what a bunch of scrubs save a few on offense and a few on defense.....I can count them on one hand, Eli, JPP, Drc, Donnel, Cruz, Pugh....Rolle...that's it.....other than that?....scrubs. All of em
maybe in NFL history, the Giants somehow still had a chance and shot themselves in the foot repeatedly. This team is a work in progress, if this Defense doesn't improve we are a 6-10 or 7-11 team at best.
If Fewell gets his head out of his ass, they can compete for the division. Either way, awesome job shutting all the naysayers up today. Eli is clearly not the problem, it's the receivers. I've never seen so many drops from Cruz and just Giants receivers in general under Coughlin. Hard to remain positive after watching this shit show of a game, these types of games make me want to quit watching football, if these ref's call another Giants game I'm not gonna bother watching it.
Should've punted the ball instead of going for it. Have a time out and the 2 min warning and you're essentially giving up the game with a miss on fourth.
teams got butt fucked by injuries and we still can't win.
Lions have no secondary and the Cards have no QB, and no pass rushers. Speaking of, why did we stop going after Peterson on intermediate to Deep routes?!
if we're not holding other teams to14 or less .... Â
I didn't even finish my last before Giants blew that drive. This season is kaput. Anyone hoping for more is on crack. The only questions are, where do we fall in the top 5 picks next year and who will be our new coach?
Second half...not looking at the schedule, they have a few winnable games in November/ December but not really before that. They might be a 4 win team.
what about Quinn? His unit lost us this game! It has happened before. How much lousy special teams do we need to see from this guy? The players change but the results don't!
The game was lost on the two ST fuck up plays in a row Â
If I am Eli, I am not fucking up my stats when the game is over. Gilbride did that to Eli last season in the Seattle game.
Eli had 3 Ints and then at the end of the half called a hail Mary where Eli got his 4th Int.
God awful in the situations we put him in.
You can't blame the coaching staff for who Eli is as a QB.
The second INT was entirely irrelevant and the game was already done, but Eli still desperately tried to make something happen because that's just who he is. He doesn't "get" stat padding/preservation like 99% of other QBs do, for both better and worse. No coach is going to change that.
So don't fucking call intermediate passes. Just throw a two yard pass and throw it around like teams do. No need in bothering to have ELi drop back.
He should get the padded stats like the other QBs get when they have 5,6, and 7 TD games. Their fucking coaches don't even pull them. Here Eli had a great game stat wise and that last Int fucked it up.
This team sucks, but at least Eli can get his, if there is a silver lining to it. He was on his way until that.
Only one of the three drops were catchable and all really over his head and the first one wasn't right on the money either. I'm pleased that our Defense played very well and our Offense looks like it's coming together. That said, there is still no way this o-line will hold up against the better teams. We really needed this win and if not for a few very bad calls by the officials and a few lucky plays for AZ such as the return for a TD we would have won this.
He had other options -- he didn't have to go over the middle where shit was likely to go bad. He tried it because he thought he could make something happen and maybe a miracle could go down.
It sucks (not because of the stat padding not happening, but because now the cretins of the fanbase and media are going to come after him for this mess of a game because OMG! HE THREW TWO MORE INTS!!! IT MUST BE ALL HIS FAULT!), but it's fundamentally part of who he is as a QB. He just doesn't wave the white flag, no matter what.

He can not care all he wants. But when those stats go down, it's all everyone talks about. Then they ask him that shit in interviews regarding turnovers and Ints.
It's fucking stupid. You protect your QB from shit like that. The other teams do that AND they go out of their way to pad the stats of those guys.
First int sucks, but fine. There was no reason to even call plays like that. Throw it short and then throw it around the field. Teams do that and saves your QB. Hell, you even get a fucking completion. Look at that!
It's not about waving the white flag. Gilbride called a Hail Mary last year after Eli had 3 ints. That added another one and made it 4. Why do that? You know your QB is struggling that day so now you call a play and have him throw it up? LOL. That's just god awful.
It's just not needed. Someone should actually protect Eli and say we can go about it a different way in garbage time especially since Eli is coming off a season where he led the league in Int for the 3rd time.
sees the game as a positive. Eli got some protection and threw the ball well. Most important: Eli is not "done."
Also, this big tight end might be the next Boss, Jake. The defensive line generated pressure and had sacks. The defensive backfield played almost as good as we had hoped subject to crazed, cocaine-snorting officials.
Turnovers can't be helped. Players who can't secure the ball will not play. Running game poor and completely lacking in explosiveness, but a lot of us already expected that from the two slow, north-south runners. I would rather have Bradshaw back with two crippled feet.
To sum, we look like we aren't going to be a humiliated, bottom feeding team. Many holes, but there is still a core.
He had other options -- he didn't have to go over the middle where shit was likely to go bad. He tried it because he thought he could make something happen and maybe a miracle could go down.

Unless they're actually going to pull him from the game, I'm not really sure what you want them to do though, Anish.
Again, he had other options. The coaching staff gave him them, where he easily could have 'lived to fight another day' so to speak. He chose to try for the miracle.
I badly wish just for today, he'd have packed it up and avoided the couple big hits and INT at the end, so "we" could focus on something else other than him for a week/recognize that he played well without qualifiers, but it's not fair to blame anyone else for him not doing that but him.
.@4stillRunning ran all the way to the far end zone, takes a knee, then does six consecutive back flips. #NYG
GO GIANTS!
It's simply said but The Giants just need to do whatever they need to in order to win this games...refuse to be defeated...hoping for a big W today and the Giants refusing to lose.
Gotta show something today.
Go Giants I guess!
Yes it was
.
Nice pass though.
backup QB
automatic first down
This defense is not good.
.
.
JPP looks like he wants his $
Such a bullshit call on Mclain
NFL fucking blows.
Basic call
Is that the new NFL rule change about contact
after 5 yards?
Yep, only thing worse is our incompetent offense can't take advantage of all this.
brutal calls
just brutal
let's hope they are at least consistent.
i cannot deal
They get the ball on the .5 yard line, they'll pound it in. If they don't convert, they'll go for it on 4th and pound it in. now this cracker jack box offense has to play from behind.
They are destroying this game.
It doesnt come down to the RBs, OL, WRs, and defense? Just Eli?
Wow.
Bright side: oh hey, holy shit, it's JPP
Quote:
Make sure they actually kill this sport. Referees rule this sport now. If a game doesn't have 60 points in it they are upset. Fucking sad
Yep, only thing worse is our incompetent offense can't take advantage of all this.
That might actually make me feel even worse if I was numb already. Lol
impressive drive by parry. JPP looks like a force today
Yeah, our offense is so impotent, close games at the half are blowouts by the end of the third. thus why we get blown out in 1 out of every 3 games.
He actually gave Parry credit for an automatic review.
This is a joke and so is the NFL.
It was 3rd down, making it even more egregious. And why can Fitz make contact if DRC can't. Fucking clown shoes.
Jesus Christ won't they shut the fuck up about the drive!?! I'm gonna throw something at my tv. Guys are awful...
Also Dez out in Lockerr room being checked
fucking refs
Eli is an interception machine AGAIN. 3 on the year.
Wow.
I thought that was last season?
Moron...
When two guys break free on a blitz, you can.
RGIII being carted off the field. Looks like a serious injury to his right knee.
Perhaps, but it was a stupid decision to throw it there.
I'll say this. It's apparent to me this offense is gonna work. It's also apparent Eli is fucking up.I think confidence comes next anbd in a game or 2 I think they settle down.

Yeah, running back whiffed on the blitzer. completely whiffed
pathetic
THIS team SUCKS
Looked like Donnell didn't pick up the blitz.
Looked like Donnell didn't pick up the blitz.
Donnell was out in the pattern. Pugh didnt pick up the blitz.
And another defensive penalty.
It's really working out for them so far.
that's why the rule is flawed, wr's can draw that contact every play

being blocked??
Kennard has a hammy fucktard
Perspective.
We havee the most uncreative blitzes in the league, and every 3rd down is given too thee other team.
NO WAY HE MISSES!

um...you know the Giants could score, don't you...?
haha, just kidding.
This. Such a horseshit call.
Agreed. A never ending problem.
coaching and we should have blown things up last year and moved forward with a new coach and assistance instead of a botox injection.
I have no idea why. We have such a good ST coach.
get back out there now..
This team sucks terribly.
I mean we deserve to not have the ball. That was just as big a bullshit call as the one against us.

No he wasnt. And worst of all he ran the pattern short of the marker.
Lets just fucking rebuild already
...I waited all week for this?
Offense is so disjointed, and all people want to do here is blame the OL, even when they are not to blame
Exactly.

Yes, he was.
So its his fault when he throws the ball away, and its fault when he holds onto the ball.

Redskins 14-0, and just sacked Henne.
Without a doubt. Sad, isn't it?

There was no one within three of four yards of Cruz. Gimme a break. He was open.
Only 10-0 with a backup in, can you imagine
how bad this would be with Carson Palmer in?
Did you miss last year?
I would have thought that stretch would have put this myth to bed.

No he wasnt. And worst of all he ran the pattern short of the marker.
Yes, he was.
There was a guy to the right and left of him. If you think that open, you would be watching a pick 6 the other way.
There was no one within three of four yards of Cruz. Gimme a break. He was open.
LOL. Ok. The overhead replay just showed two guys right there plus he was short of the marker. I know Cruz never does wrong, but he wasnt open.
I would have thought that stretch would have put this myth to bed.
IOW -- last year could just be an aberration.
Did we spend a lot of money on these guys?

Whatever you want to believe.
No Eli is suppose to scramble and make plays. According to BBI.
It's hard to tell...
Lions can't score against Carolina

Or, more likely, the Giants have had a few really embarrassing performances against bad/back-up QBs and people let them cloud the overall picture.
Fewell's blitzes are historically poorly designed. Also our 3rd down defense is a joke blitz or no.
maybe it will wake up the team
The Giants coaching staff will surely correct DRCs error soon
agreed. Was shocked they punted.
Fewell's blitzes are historically poorly designed. Also our 3rd down defense is a joke blitz or no.
This. when has one of his blitzes ever gotten home?
Or, more likely, the Giants have had a few really embarrassing performances against bad/back-up QBs and people let them cloud the overall picture.
What overall picture are you talking about? That the Giants have a history and tradition of putting bad teams away? That the Giants are known for destroying back up QBs? That history that every Giants fan of 50 years knows all about?
I think maybe you BECAME a Giants fan in 2013.
Fewell's blitzes are historically poorly designed. Also our 3rd down defense is a joke blitz or no.
was interception #2 waiting to happen.
Redskins 21-0. Cousins 7-7.
Come on we need a TD here.
Haha. That's right!
Finish this fucker off!
Come on we need a TD here.
That said, Eli is throwing the ball well today and making plays when everything is not perfect.
Real question is can Feqwell unscrew himself, and is DRC gonna continue to give up huge chucks of yardage to the opponents top receivers
Nice
ill bet eli vot picked and hasnt thrown Washington
or parker...And d sucks...
Not really.
The game where he ended Asomugha's career was his best.
10-7
why not eli..
is anyone trashing eli yet
Hopefully, we'll find out soon.
why not eli..
is anyone trashing eli yet
Seriously go wrong in fucking traffic. RGIII got hurt really bad and Eli is 12 for 14 passing. You're a fucking shitstain.
It helps that Randle and Peterson were college teammates and good friends
You can't make fun of me later if you don't call it now.
BTW I'm off my meds again so I should be pretty easy to bait.
Nassib boot lickers

Zone not working at all. Stanton has gun fr an arm and finding all kinds of holes in our coverage.

Not only is he a shit coordinator running an obselete system but we have invested a ton of resources in man-to-man cover corners whos skills are a waste in this system
I would not have an issue with Fewell going somewhere else to practice his trade.
Oh my...how professional you are...hahaha...f
Price and DRC are press corners
I just don't get the calls. Why was he trying at that to blitz the QB, to try and force a TO near the Giants endzone. Very weird point in the game to try to get aggressive.
Randle has done well all day. We needed this guy to step up and he did. DRC starting to play pissed off. Love it.
On offense, once again we get 1 drive out of Eli per half. This is a recurring theme, usually the last drive of the half, the running game continues to be 3 yards and a cloud of dust
Redskins 21-7. Mercedes Lewis with a long TD.
Bullshit
Egregious call on Pugh.
what a fucking shitstorm this crew is.
What the fuck is your problem? This is a game thread asshole. Keep your incessant whine about fantasy football to yourself.
Redskins 21-7. Mercedes Lewis with a long TD.
Bullshit calls vs the Giants in the 3rd quarter
lighten up, gentlemen...it's looking good for the 4th quarter!
FMIC is that you????
Need to get something on O.
Does he have a single run over 1 yard?
Either call the ticky-tack shit or don't.
Even so, why go long there when we could run a screen or something to pick up 4?! We need to keep drives alive now!!!
How can they not admonish the refs for that?
Instead they are like, " oh he held his arm". And that's it....almost like its normal....like seriously...W. T. F. ????????????
Holy shit i m in the fucking twilight zone
At least from games I've watched, I just don't get what the hell they are doing.
Kiwi owes that one to moor. He crumpled the pocket.
What the hell was THAT?
Can't stand the way this game is turning. Let defensive players play defense for fucks sakes.
The mute button is your friend.
FUCKIN' A!!!!!
:o)
Way to go NYG!
14-10 baby
Go after Peterson. He looks like he is having a fucking meltdown.
just need to fix the D on 3rd and longs
Way to go NYG!
I think Kevin Burkhardt has been very fair to the Giants today. He has done a nice job.
If you told me our first three passing TDs are to tights ends I would have called you an idiot.
Given how defensive of Eli (and Coughlin) he's been since his exit, I'm pretty sure he's not unhappy to see a sliver of hope for them.
If you told me our first three passing TDs are to tights ends I would have called you an idiot.
Two out of three.. Randle caught the first TD today.
Turnover!!!!!
This is a good building block. Also, now the offense can see the light at the end of the tunnel. So this offense does and can work.
We just need the OL and Wrs to do their thing. When given time, Eli has shown he can make very good throws. If our guys can get open, our offense can go from shitty to functional, to actually good.
This will help the whole offenses confidence.
If you told me our first three passing TDs are to tights ends I would have called you an idiot.
Ruben Randle plays WR.
If you told me our first three passing TDs are to tights ends I would have called you an idiot.
One was to Randle.
If you told me our first three passing TDs are to tights ends I would have called you an idiot.
randle isn't a tight end
Arizona sells out against the run. It's not a reflection on the Giants OL

Aside from that play it's been all good from Eli. The run game sucks but at least they're not giving up on it.
Neutered
It is. It's both teams. The first game against the Lions, same thing, more on the Lions than us.
Also, notice that the Cards seem to have coached their receivers to run into the defender before making their breaks.
reaction of giants fans in santa monia to td - ( New Window )
But breathe on the WRs and its an automatic first down.
Stop them!
Running in mud out there.
Can't stop em
Shit
Don't let those 2 beat us
This crew has made themselves way too much a part of this game.
Zebras 10
apparently not. Watch that Mike Carey segment on Showtime NFL show and discussion around pass interference. Ed Reed was shaking his head. I was stunned. Seems like they can influence games greatly now, which is likely what they want anyway.
does it matter, don't the owners vote on rule changes?
he played on at least the 1st series of second half
Hahaha!
He went out on that drive. Ellington responded.
Repeat.
Good idea!! Send it to the Comish. While we're at, let's rebrand as the NatiinFFootball Association.
Yea! None on season.
been asking that for 3-4 seasons now.
Now the offense is probably going to panic and turn the ball over. Sigh.

You are the worst.
I mean we're a horrible, horrible team.....Quin will be gone with all other coaches after this shitshow season is over.
Do what I do to make it fun: scratch your balls between each segment.
They are calling the game tight, so pass the fucking ball!! You may get a completion or penalty.
We can't run the ball.
Walter Thurmond is out for the remainder of the game with a pectoral injury...McBride took his place
Fuck him. Another bitch with a loud mouth. Suck my cock.
Normally I'd be upset by your racism, but you just provided enough to get yourself banned, so in this case, thanks.
Now we fumble and the cardinals have it. Nice job Victor, big time player.
Blowup coming in January.
5th time in less then 2 seasons is on Quinn.
And BTW Cruz, way to produce once you got paid...
Dude...he has no ligaments in his ankle.
Really? Really? He's playing on a busted ankle.
He has torn ligaments in his ankle dummy.
What is killing us. Special teams and defense
No need to call those when they have the lead...They will come now though on us
To be fair, he's playing basically on one leg this week.
Do the Giants ever get return TDs?
If the punter has to make a tackle everyone else on the coverage failed. Weatherford also has torn ligaments in his ankle so expecting him to take down Ted Ginn at full speed is a bit much to ask
Team is just not good.
Sadly I've seen worse in the last 3 seasons.
this is Drew Stanton.. the guy's actually a serviceable backup.
Why is Demps allowed to run out of the endzone on every lick????? And yes that is coaching.
He's a punter and also has torn ligaments in his ankle. That's not on the punter
Yeah right. 1997 playoff loss was worse
we are avg 2.3 yds per carry, and we are giving up 7
You aren't a Browns fan.
Things suck right now, but you aren't some tortured soul of a fan who never gets nice things.
I agree: TC does NOT deserve this.
His unit has been terrible for ages now. For a coach who preaches accountability it doesn't really seem to stretch to his coaching staff. The FO has had to crowbar coaches out, but somehow Quinn has escaped.
LOL
you saw how depleted the Lions were. Backups everywhere in the secondary.
"Quarterbacks are selfish. If you get open they'll throw you the ball."
Garbage.
He just killed us.
We suck.
And Eli...and Donnell and the O-Line had decent pass protection for the most part
It's not luck it's lack of talent, focus call it what you will. It's the same thing that causes perennial bottom dwellers like the Jags and Browns to continue to shit the bed.
He did.
Coughlin does deserve it, for a coach who preaches fundamentals his sides have latterly shown none.
Something isn't getting through to them from TC, for whatever reason.
great play call by Arians.
if it was us we'd try killing the clock. Great call.
or a 3 and out.
We are a bad team... I mean, a really bad team.
Don't forget - AZ is playing without their Starting QB and several key Defensive players out - and we are going to get smoked again.
I really wish they would have done the right thing last year and clean house... this will be another wasted year.
great play call by Arians.
if it was us we'd try killing the clock. Great call.
I agree, I hate that playing not to lose mindset we seem to have at times
At least they fixed that this year.
At least they fixed that this year.
lol...true.
This squad hasn't given them a reason to give a shit in nearly two years
Lets go Gmen
great play call by Arians.

And it doesn't have to look that hard for them.
But he's been on our roster for multiple seasons. Boston College baby!
Where are you ?

I despise that type of playcalling. Just run your fucking offense the way that got you the lead. More over, the penalties in the secondary means throw more. Either you get a penalty or get a completion.
Are you kidding?
BTW: AZs best tackler today was the turf.
- RR/Cruz.
no calls
fcuk these refs
This is a loser squad right now
+1
This sucks.
The first thing they should do is clear out the bottom of the roster.
This season is over.
bravo
he can't catch them too. only Brad Johnson can
Meanwhile, the Redskins are winning 34-7, and Dallas is about to win 26-10. Welcome to 0-2.
Agree, those come from behind drives to win it days are over.
you would think we would win this one.
There is no way Eli can get 70% with these fuckers dropping the ball. He does have 68% today.
Holy shit show !
:>(
Not good.
[quote] . [/quote
Totally agree. This game was definitely not o n Eli.
Defense, STs, penalties and drops.
Undisciplined play all around. This is a TC coached team ?
What? It hit Randle right in the hands
The NFL has destroyed this game
If Fewell gets his head out of his ass, they can compete for the division. Either way, awesome job shutting all the naysayers up today. Eli is clearly not the problem, it's the receivers. I've never seen so many drops from Cruz and just Giants receivers in general under Coughlin. Hard to remain positive after watching this shit show of a game, these types of games make me want to quit watching football, if these ref's call another Giants game I'm not gonna bother watching it.
Not good.
Yah riiiiight...not today, not today
Lions have no secondary and the Cards have no QB, and no pass rushers. Speaking of, why did we stop going after Peterson on intermediate to Deep routes?!
Quote:
Everyone excusing Eli but that int was on him. Let's not rewrite the script.
What? It hit Randle right in the hands
Cromartie had him wrapped and was playing the ball. I wished he could have come up with the ball but that wasn't a drop but a pass defense.
we need a LaMichael James change-of-pace type back...
Great product
Second half...not looking at the schedule, they have a few winnable games in November/ December but not really before that. They might be a 4 win team.
hehe.
He just wasn't listening!
Forcing a pass over the middle. INT by Foote.
Amen!! Activate Snyder next week for Christ's sake or start Mosley.
Desperation throw with the clocking running down as usual in those situations.
Minutes silence for the Giants season.
If I am Eli, I am not fucking up my stats when the game is over. Gilbride did that to Eli last season in the Seattle game.
Eli had 3 Ints and then at the end of the half called a hail Mary where Eli got his 4th Int.
God awful in the situations we put him in.
Minutes silence for the Giants season.
lol
Completely agree .

And why the hell is Eli in there anyhow, when the game is completely out of reach?
So don't fucking call intermediate passes. Just throw a two yard pass and throw it around like teams do. No need in bothering to have ELi drop back.
He should get the padded stats like the other QBs get when they have 5,6, and 7 TD games. Their fucking coaches don't even pull them. Here Eli had a great game stat wise and that last Int fucked it up.
This team sucks, but at least Eli can get his, if there is a silver lining to it. He was on his way until that.
We WILL beat Houston!

Quote:

He is who he is.
Good Question for TC
