Why do I feel the same way I did then? Is Eli becoming the new generations version of Craig Morton? Even CM had a good game or two but sucked most of the time. 1996 we all new Reeves was just running out his contract; is Tom? And 2003 had early hope, but quickly faded ending the Fassell era. My bigger worry is the front office. Those guys will all still be here next year and they're to blame for a lot this too.

and for a team without an Offensive line we actually played very well today. Our D was getting lots of presure until Beason went out and JPP was flashing again. We had some good pass plays. I think the 3 drops by Cruz are more on Eli as they were touch reaches but the offense was moving both on the ground and in the air.

That bad call on MCClain on the QB was a terrible call. There were several missed Penalties that should have been 1st downs for us if the Refs call all the shit against AZ that they were calling against us. Demps fumble hurt as did the freak runback by AZ where we almost got the guy. The fumble by Jernigan near the end was a freak thing as he basically just slipped and fell and the ground did caus that fumble but before he was touched by a defender.

We played much much better this week but still with our o-line we'll be very lucky to go 6 - 10 this year. Reece sucks!

on Quinn - guy was there to make the play and missed the tackle. I think that might have made Deossie and others pause or have a mental lapse or a split second and then get a little sloppy re: their gaps.

Even our vaunted secondary took a huge hit once Will Hill was let go. Flawed linebackers, decent DL, bad line, decent receivers, decent backs. Really nothing special anywhere on the roster. We'll likely send nobody to the Pro Bowl this year.

i was watching the linebackers in this game - look at spencer paysinger on the 3rd and G carry after they reversed fitzgerald's TD. He is unblocked but instead of filling the hole and making the stuff he just stands there.

I just have to. Why is it that every single time Andre Williams gets the ball, he runs between the tackles? before today every single carry he had was for 1 yard..between the tackles...you'd think they'd try another play handing the ball to him? I mean, how many times does this have to happen before McAdon't realizes that this play just does not work? How many times? Its so frustrating. Please McAdont ....please...it's a wasted play every time...

Forget Paysinger, I wonder what it is going to take to show this HC that Herzlich is not a NFL caliber player. He racks up assisted tackles on STs. LOL, jumping on top on pile ons does not make someone a "great" ST player. Certainly not enough to warrant carrying him on your roster.

I was worried about the O going into the season not the D. Looks like Perry is going back to his early 2011 defense, probably until it will be too late for a turn around.

On a side note, if the the fucking receivers and running backs can hold onto the ball it looks like we will be seeing a better O moving forward.

issues are more indicative of lack of talent on the backside of the roster. That being said, Bowman makes a tackle and no one is complaining.
