On Friday afternoon. Around 1, I decided to eat lunch and throw on the first episode of True Detective on HBO GO. I had not watched the show during it's initial run.

After the first episode I completely blew off work and binged on the whole season in one sitting. I think I wrapped up around midnight or so. Show is amazing; could be the best television show ever produced.

I still get chills

but the last few minutes of episode three just blew me away on the first viewing - and the 10th viewing. Just perfect execution of a scene.
