There is a place called Twin Anchors north of the Loop heading towards Wrigley. Great ribs. The bar was used in a scene in one of the batman movies. Local place, decent microbrews. Worth the trip.
For breakfast, go to Lou Mitchell's on W Jackson. Looks like a diner but awesome omelette's and skillets plus home made pastries and they have great pancakes.
