The Giants should bring up rookies Chandler Fenner and Bennet Jackson from the practice squad/ Truthfully both these guys can play and made more tackles and broke up passes during the preseason than the starters in the secondary.
Its worth it to bring them in now. Its inexpensive and less of a risk. The Giants usually seek a beat up veteran. They must take into consideration this is a new team on defense especially in the secondary there aren't any incumbents from successes from the past.
These rookie prospects are just as much of a solution as anyone on the market, who would need to pick up the system. These both guys practice in the system currently. I would except a rookie getting beat from time to time. Not Jayron Hosley
In the case of Jayron Hosley he is out for the 2 more games, and I haven't seen him hit anyone in anyway. Honestly these two players need to get the shot.

Rolle cannot play the slot any longer...the Dallas game last year should be evidence enough of that.
T. Thomas is not the answer either...remember the San Diego game last year? He was picked on all day.
....and NO there is no reason Herzlich should be asked to play on the defense, unless there are no LBs left on the team.
McBride/Bowman/Fenner/Jackson....whichever of these the coaches believe is ready to step up.
LBs - Dennard (as soon as healthy), McClain, and Williams.
Time to go with the younger players.
