Shutdown Corner Rankings after Week 2...

M.S. : 9/16/2014 4:40 pm
...here is what they said about the Giants:

**********************************************************************************************************************
#30 New York Giants (0-2, LW: 26)
I know you can't demote an offensive coordinator after two games. But there just can't be any confidence in Ben McAdoo's offense right now.
**********************************************************************************************************************

The Giants offense wasn't so bad this past week. The defense needs to batten down the hatches.

Time for the men in Blue to prove them wrong!

Go Giants!!!

of that Giants blurb must not have watched the game on Sunday. Given that the Offensive line is a serious work in progress unrelated to the scheme, the Giants passing game made several opportunities given its limited personnel. If Randle and Cruz could hold onto some fantastic passes by Eli, and we don't have two egregious fumbles and didn't let up a punt return for a TD, the Giants win the game and the offense looks like it took a huge step forward from week 1.

The problem right now is not the scheme, but the personnel.

I'm not arguing with the Giants being ranked #30. We are a bad football team right now. Furthermore, while my prior post includes a lot of "ifs," none of them are scheme-related.

I agree. There was a ton of improvement from Week 1 to Week 2. The OL blocked better. Eli was crip with with his throws, and the offense moved at a really nice pace in comparison to the play clock. All good things.

But, we need to catch the ball, and also establish the run more.

I think it will get there actually, but the mindset has to be we are rebuilding....and all the pieces aren't there yet.

That's tough when you have won two SBs with your starting QB.
crip = crisp...

not crap lol
Huh?

If there was a bright spot last week for the Giants it was the offense. Eli looked crisp and the scheme worked great. Eli and McAdoo should only get better together. The Giants win that game going away if not for the two fumbles. Sometimes I wonder if these idiot sports writers even watch the team they're paid to cover.

...you are right.

They don't watch the teams they're writing about!

Had the guy said our defense has been surprisingly inept at times... I would have said OK.

But this guy didn't see the offense play this past weekend.

That's for sure!
rankings?

please, it's week 2.

the only rankings that matter is where you pick in the draft.

...well, if the Giants keep this current shit-show going, take their Week #2 Ranking and subtract from 32 teams and you'll have our draft slot for 2015!

Ugh! {:-(
