I'm pretty surprised to see the Colts and Saints on that list - and presumably only one of them makes it (or neither, but that would be a real surprise).
its not a good division and they faced two playoff teams to start their year. Obviously the Mathis injury hurts big time, but they'll still take the AFC South.
What the Saints have going for them is they still have 8 home games this season - they are dominant at home. But man does their defense suck. If Jimmy Graham cant stay healthy all year, they're done.
Since 2007, four of 59 teams who started 0-2 made the playoffs.
And I've seen 23 out of 198 in another article.
Neither one of these seems to be consistent with the 1 in 60.
The first one definitely isent, and the other implies that 22 out of 128 made it, which seems awfully high.
So we're just picking this stuff of the internet without really being able to verify it, I think.
Profootball-reference.com has tons of stuff but I didn't see a way to look at the standings of a particular season after 2 games.
Indy because of the QB in that division, but their defense is terrible.
NO has some issues. Brees is not getting time to throw. His WR caught 9 passes for 79 yards. He targeted the RB & wr 26 of 39 times. that was with Hayden covering J. Graham

None of those other teams is getting in.
Joe, statistically only 12% of teams that start 0-2 make the playoffs. That's 3 in every 25 or 1 in every 7. There are 7 teams that are 0-2 right now.
NY Giants!

0 of 8 in 2009.
0 of 8 in 2010.
0 of 7 in 2011.
0 of 6 in 2012.
(1 of ? in 2013, the panthers).
I don't see 60 coming out of that.

your math?

12% is actually 1 in 8
Yea, I know - but there are only seven 0-2 teams and I was trying to keep it simple.
