One thing struck me in last night's game. Foles relied on Sproles to get him out of trouble by dumping the ball to the back and letting his speed and elusiveness take over. And, so I ask you, BBI, when was the last time the Giants had such a player, and what is so hard about finding such a player?
The only one in my memory is Meggett in the late 80s/early 90s. I think we had high hopes that Wilson could turn into that kind of player, but it was not to be. I think a scatback type of player could really help Eli.

Certainly worth a shot, he's young enough to where if he fits the bill, he could be around a while.
Before he exploded into the all-purpose back that he was, that's probably the answer to the question. Although, I always thought that Tiki pre-Coughlin went down a little easy.
That was my first thought watching last night. Then I quickly realized that if we acquired him he would either come up with a 4 month hammy pull/suddenly start regularly getting tripped up by the turf monster/catch an acute case of fumbleitis on returns...who are we kidding?
That being said, I'd rather Hillis over a lot of them.
The good news is that now we all get to kill Jerry Reese for blowing a high draft pick on a guy that got injured.
I mentioned Wilson in my OP.
All the while I am sure they knew Wilson had a good chance to end up like he did.
The fact that they didn't outbid the Eagle to just to keep him from going somewhere in the division is mind boggling.
If we start 0-5 / 1-6 I think that Reese should be the first to go. The earlier they can get a jump on the GM search the better.

Can someone please provide a rough translation of this post. Thank you in advance.
Definitely wanted McCluster in FA. Too bad Titans snagged him early. I guess they were banking on David Wilson to recover.
I can just hear all the whining and complaining around here - "that damn Reese, what was he thinking picking up a under-sized has-been, when had bigger needs !"
