My mom tore my ass up with whatever she got her hands on extension cord was the weapon of choice, hot wheel track was 2nd but you name it ..shoe..glasses..bible..whatever. But you know what she taught me that bad choices we lead to bad consequences, and I appreciate everyone of those ass whippin's ..except the one that should have went to my brother.
Dwyer’s reported arrest comes in the wake of the situations with Ray Rice, Adrian Peterson, Greg Hardy and Ray McDonald.
Considering he is not a high-level player like the other players facing legal issues, there is a possibility that the Cardinals could decide to outright release him — whether that is fair or not.
If Dwyer is shown the door, the Cardinals would be able to call on practice squad running back Chris Rainey to fill Dwyer’s spot on the 53-man roster. There is one problem, however. Rainey has previously been released from a team because of a domestic violence incident.

Stephen A. Smith will claim that this is a RB problem
it's like a race to go beat your family members the fastest as soon as the policy has been in place.
Dwyer is a small name but maybe he still makes headlines given the climate.
They need to go full measure and eliminate all low character players in sports or let them all play as long as they are out of prison because this cannot continue.

Let me clarify I do not want to belittle the issue at all Â
by saying this. That said right now you know there are likely at least a few women who are holding the threat of being able to make a public charge over some players.
with someone who was victimized by Brandon Marshall seven years ago. This is a very serious issue, but when Gloria Allred is standing in front of a microphone bank you know there are two things at stake, attention and dollar signs. As far as anyone can tell, the incident was reported to the police, I'm pretty sure he did a first offender/diversion program, it is being trotted out now because Allred smells blood in the water.
discipline his 1-year old daughter, depending on circumstances and what she did. He was on Boomer & Carton this morning defending Adrian Peterson. I didn't hear it so maybe the blogger who wrote about it on HuffPo got it wrong. I actually hope so. Bush also is reported to have said he would, "of course," try not to leave a mark or a bruise.
is an NFL player going to beat their mom? And people say the NBA has an image problem...
What next? Prior to all the recent happening the NFL had a player murder his girl friend then drive to Arrowhead Stadium and committed suicide in front of his coach and general manager. Then had the Patriots Hernandez commit murder.
can mean so many thing ..my daughter's high school principle got arrested last week for domestic violence and was removed from the school ..may even lose his job with the school system. But in the police report all the guy did was throw some pretzels(not saying he should have did it) and his girlfriend..and off to jail he went. Don't throw pretzel at your significant other - ( New Window )

It's 2014. We don't throw pretzels. We're better than that...

Kidd was arrested for throwing french fries and cookies from his son's kids meal when he try to take one and his wife scolded him.
a wife speaking up to her husband because she saw coverage of other NFL domestic violence incidents, and saying "Heyyyy, that's what you have been doing to me."
Then everyone can get back to blaming the media.
RE: from 4 to 13, I got the electrical cord ( Bridgeport Ct ) Â
How hard is it to *not* put your hands on a woman? And throwing a show at an 18 month old? Don't even put this guy in jail on the taxpayers tab, take him out back and just beat the dogshit out of him.
Hey. Isn't there a gay guy on the Cowboys practice squad? Â
To calm down and the league won't let them. This will all go away when they change the drug policy.
Not sure if really serious, hoping I'm missing a reference from some other threads. But in case I'm not...first off, if you think the drug policy prevents players from smoking you're being naive. They know when the tests are coming, only the idiots get caught. Second, what exactly is so stressful about the life of an NFL player that they need to smoke pot in order to not be violent with the people they are supposed to love and protect? And that's coming from an advocate of legalization. Like I said, I hope I'm missing a joke in reference to some earlier dumb comment.
in how hard you can poke a finger at another before it's abuse, using any foreign object is stupid. Not that using a foreign object as a form of punishment is ok under any circumstance, but there isn't any scenario where you can explain it to anyone remotely resembling an authority figure (judge, teacher, boss, etc).
Although, I wonder how many female acquaintances will try and pull some crap on these guys moving forward.

More than you'd think.

I think that ship has sailed along time ago.
