was a chain in Hawaii called Teddy's Bigger Burgers. As a broke college kid it was like a 5 star meal. Haven't had one since I moved years ago. I remain hopeful, they seem to be expanding to the mainland.
There is a place in Phoenix called Delux that's pretty good. Another good burger in the Phoenix (Scottsdale) area is at this place called Pig and Pickle, which is one of my favorite restaurants in town. Even their veggie burger is outstanding.
Burger is delicious, but is not exactly a "classic" burger taste.
It eats more like a steak, which is probably due to the mix of premium beef cuts they use. Definitely some nutty, funky, dry-aged notes to this burger. Super tender and flavorful -- you could probably gum this burger with no teeth.
My favorite burger in NYC. Located on 30th & 2nd, the place looks like a dumpy, locals-only watering hole, but serves some of the best bar food along with some unexpectedly refined chalkboard specials.
THe burger is always cooked perfectly and reaches the optimal balance of salty, beefy, fatty perfection.
there is a spot in Santa Monica I went this summer called Father's Office.
Ton of craft beer on tap (including Pliny). They have a burger called the Office Burger - its a patty of fine dry-aged beef topped with caramelized onions, Gruyère and Maytag cheeses, applewood-smoked bacon compote and arugula served on a soft roll.
It is without question on the best burgers I've ever had.
1. Horsefeathers in Tarrytown. Get the "knickerbocker" and add bacon. It has caramelized onoins mixed in with the meat and is topped with horseradish cheddar.
2. Terry's Turf Club in Cincinnati
3. The Burger Bar in Roy Utah.
4. The Chuck Box - Tempe AZ
5. Burgatory - Pittsburgh
I walked in on a whim with some chick who Omaha'ed me (though in my defense I had no idea she had a boyfriend but wanted to hang out with me) on a Sunday afternoon. Didn't have to wait at all.
Eastern Standard in Boston
Ask for ketchup! I dare ya lol
Prime 16 and Cataup and Mustard are tops for me in Connecticut.

I said end thread! lol
Does it live up to the hype? Seems like I can never get a reservation there.

Dont forget Tommy's #5 in Venice Beach.
My favorite chain burger place is Culver's. Mmmm . . . Butter burger (and custard for desert).
Coke.
Coke.
Billy Goat Tavern is good stuff.
City Tavern really? Didn't even know to had burgers on the menu. Will have to check it out.

I hate Florida food.
I thought JG Melon's was vastly overrated.
