Beason Update

Even if he can't go this week, he may not be out long. HUGE drop off in LB talent/play when he's out.

is a big drop off, which is a problem. He is talented, but oft injured. LB is another of many units on this team where Reese has not provided adequate depth and talent.

ASAP but would really like to see Devon Kennard get a shot at the MLB spot. Maybe wishful thinking but think this guy could be a real find and fill that spot for years.

not just for this week. Gotta think long term health, Beason.

Think you have hit the nail on the head. These guys want the $$$ in thier second contract but do not want to practice and play at the level they did in the early years. You see it all over the league. They want the money not the life. Thats why you need a GM who can tell the difference. Reese is not that guy.

But we are 0-2 with our best player playing. What's the downside if he doesn't?

We see all this talk that he's feeling better and could very well play Sunday..

He sees the Specialist and he's out for the season.

That whole stuff about "toeing it" instead of being able to play off the ball of his foot sounds pretty bad to me. That is, that he can't possibly be effective that way, can he?
