Anybody see Billy Joel at these monthly garden shows? Saw him last night and was absolutely blown away. I am more of a hard rock/alternative fan but this guy is a national treasure. He played 25 songs and everyone is a hit. He is the best showman I have ever seen, telling jokes, stories and making an 11,000 seat arena feel like a local bar. I have never heard a louder crowd singing every song but the highlight was Piano Man which the entire crowd was singing almost louder than him. His band is fantastic also. He has played 55 of these shows this year and the amount of energy and enthusiasm he had you would have thought it was the first of the tour. Highly recommend seeing him.
