Anyone know where online they can check to see if they are on the 'No Fly' list?
17 Months ago I had no problem in Missoula Mt heading to Seattle for an Andre Rieu concert. My ticket cleared the computer, no sweat.
I don't want to talk about my Seattle eastbound experience. Kiosk refused my ticket and said 'See the Lady'. Lady said I was on the No Fly list. She claimed some times there is a random search. BS. It may have been random, but it was a bastard. Even got invited to a private room by the TSA guy.
I would hate to fly to Vegas, find out I am on the list and then have to come home Greyhound.
All I had was a small soft 12" bag with an electric razor, shaving lotion, stick of deodorant, soap in a plastic box, plastic bag w/pair of dirty socks, and one pair used shorts (not dirty), Samsung 10.1 tablet, cell phone, and an envelope w/concert ticket stubs and a boarding pass.
I was only in Seattle 14 hours
The TSA Redress page linked above is your best bet for now.

They will not confirm or deny that you are on a list or that any such list exists.
TSA - ( New Window )
George Carlin Airplanes - ( New Window )
At JFK upon showing our passports we were all escorted to another room for Q & A time! (Did not bring back pot, thank God.)
The reason we were detained was because of my last name. It's one of the most common in the US.
True story.

You sure you got the right guy?
There are any number of documented instances where boarder security demands a person make their electronic records available for copying when entering the country, for instance. I have read that frequent business travelers routinely wipe the hard drives on their computers after uploading their information to the cloud before traveling to the USA from abroad.

Your right. Got confused with an old handle. Hard for us old guys to keep up sometimes.
