the sake of Wu's sanity they have to let him in. As for the rest of the season 3 cliffhangers, Adalind will probably wipe out the rest of the royal family once she realizes the prince lied to her. It may take a couple episodes but I think Nick will be a Grimm again. With Rosalie's help. For now they let Truble be the muscle

Northern exposure started with one person being special, the MD. Then, more and more people became special and suddenly, when everyone became special, nobody was special, and the show lost its luster.

Nick's mom kills as a reflex. Nick has to overcome an internal struggle not to be like his mom. I don't think Nick is a good enough actor to portray that inner struggle.

but that fugly and I mean FUGLY actress playing his love interest absolutely must get whacked. She is painful to watch.

that definitely takes style points away. I still think she's a solid 8 looks-wise. She just constantly gives off that high maintenance look without even trying..

Might be longer than a a few episodes. Not sure how that will fly. I assume thats why Truble was brought in. His seeing eye Grimm for now.

Nick losing his powers reminds me of the end of Season 4 of Star Trek: DS9, where Odo is condemned to live life as a human by his fellow Changelings. He didn't become a shape-shifter again until halfway through Season 5, and I wouldn't expect Nick to get his powers back anytime soon, either.

I'm not crazy about the Trubel character, although the backstory on how the actress (or non-actress, really) got the part is interesting. Again, there's a DS9 parallel for me, when Jadzia Dax was replaced by Ezri Dax (another young brunette with short hair), a character who monopolized much of the first few episodes of Season 7 (Wesley Crusher Syndrome on early TNG, which then morphed into Seven of Nine Syndrome on Voyager).

Personally, I would have rather had some of the other characters fleshed out a lot more instead of bringing in a new one.
