@ebenezersamuel: Tag-team reading thru Coughlin's transcript. He said Jon Beason may have to "fight through something like this for the duration". Not good
This likely means that the Dr visit today did not go well. Beason was planning on playing if it was simply scar tissue. This is very bad news that could become worse. Bad opponent for it to happen against. Sorry, don't mean to be a downer, but we are really off to a staggeringly bad start this year. Few if any breaks at all for our team.

Not really. TC never said he's play, nor did he. TC said he wasn't ruling it out and JB said he'd make wvery attempt to play. Neither statement meant anything other than coach or playerspeak as it pertains to an injured player. I doubt it had anything to do with any Dr. visit/evaluation..He's not ready yet. Most of us expected that he wouldn't be
Herzlich is a bad choice given any propensity of any Offense.
He has repeatedly shown he cannot get the job done out of the Linebacker position. He is a weakness on the field except for maybe (and this is a big maybe) goal line defenses where he doesn't have to move very much.
and might be available for the 'Skins game.....division games are more important.....
If he's not, then the medical staff rushed him back, and he should have been PUP'd to start the season......that might have been his best bet to play some games, at the end of the season, if we still had a chance....
For anyone to think that he was not going to practice and just run out there on the field and play, was crazy....but that seems to be the mindset of the Giant medical staff....
Just quoting Abramson.....whoever the fuck that is. Ralph is often wrong, and him quoting some other moron does not make me think Beason is out for sure.
Make some plays
Did you watch his run D last week? He was late to the hole on a few plays.
Tough to do with Demps as our 3rd safety. Especially when Stevie Brown sucks as it is.
McClain was there all preseason before Beason was available. Kennard was outside but he can't make it.
We're kinda thin at LB.

Not sure if you're joking or not, but at this point I'd be okay with it.
Even with McClain at MLB, this linebacking group isn't much better than last year....
Will this team ever get a linebacker that can stay on the field?
