Bad Robot Productions put this on YouTube, luring Star Wars fans into the warm nostalgia with John Williams’ signature horns.

Its sort of funny JJ used the music/props from a Batman

that is completely independent from Snyders. A Batman franchise that will inevitably be held up against Snyder's and used to tear it down.

But I mean, Hollywood is so devoid of ideas we will probably see a Brave and the Bold movie featuring Batman X Star Wars. (And it will be awesome).
Completely independent?

Nolan is producing. He's in charge of this movie. He and his team are in charge of the whole DC cinematic universe.

It's completely independent in the same sense that Scotland is independent from England.

Don't overstate Nolans involvement. He's an executive producer. Snyder is the one that has inexplicably even given creative oversight of the DC stuff. This will be completely different and separate from the bale movies.
God I hope this new Star Wars is really devoid of cgi

And more like the original trilogy. Seems to be headed in that direction.

Sorry, but you have this backwards: Nolan and his team run the show. Snyder is the hired help. Nolan can replace Snyder. Snyder can't replace Nolan.
Which by the way...
81_Great_Dane : 9/20/2014 3:00 pm : link
... does not mean that Batman v Superman will have any continuity with Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy. Separate stories, but guided by Nolan's creative sensibility.

I think that's a huge mistake by Warner Bros., but what do I know?
No...
Chris in Philly : 9/20/2014 7:52 pm : link
Nolan is a suit and Snyder is making the creative decisions. They had a major disagreement about the end of Man of Steel and Snyder's "vision" won the day. This is all a Snyder show and Nolan is there to cash the checks. He is completely hands off. The Whedon-Marvel parallel is Snyder. And it's a huge mistake.

The Falcon didn't look like a model to me in that clip. It looked like a computer graphic. Maybe I'm wrong, though.
Nerd side note...

Star Wars: Rebels starts up next month. My boys are psyched and I think I am even more so. I think it looks pretty promising.
