Any opponent's weakness. But I remember other teams that began a season looking like a bad team that were not. Momentum both positive and negative is a powerful force in sports. It is amazing what one win can do. I think Giants win today.

I waited 9 months for this season to start.......I have criticized the moves of this front office, but that doesn't mean I don't care about my Giants....
I hope this OL will get better...that OBj will get out there and make me forget Nicks....that Donnell is the third coming of Boss/Ballard......that somehow Randle wakes up one day and "gets it".....that Cruz starts using stickem'....that Eli masters the short pass in accuracy.....that a miracle happens and Beason can get on the field......that Moore is given more playing time.....that Fewell lets this defense play like "mad dogs".....
Many thought this team was just a few players away from the playoffs, thus expectations were high.....we overrated this team and underrated the rest of the NFC East...we are more than just a few players from making the playoffs.....I am hoping that this team can be competitive.....we were never in the first game....last week, we had the lead in the fourth quarter....today we play a good defensive team, with a solid offense......they are not a top team.....they are a middle of the pack team hoping to get into the playoffs.....
If we lose, and get blown out, then it certainly does not look good with this schedule.....if we lose, but are competitive, that means progress....if we win, then anything is possible....

If they get a win today,( I'm thinking it'll be a very close game), then squeak out a win Thursday night against Washington, they'll be sitting at 2/2, instead of 0/4.

and 7-4 with Beason starting. Beason's first game with the Giants was a loss, but Beason didn't start and was unfamiliar with the defense. Arian Foster is averaging 4.4 yards. My guess is he'll have a field day against the Giants today. As for the rest of the season, I think Beason will be hobbled the entire year. I look for the Giants to win four games. It will certainly be the end of the Coughlin era and probably the end of Jerry Reese. I only hope his replacement is able to evaluate linebackers and can pick up some decent offensive lineman in rounds 3 and 4.
