Even when the offense is clicking and looking great we have to have someone fuck it up. This type of offense can't afford to turn over the ball. If the giants are going to turn it over like this they might as well be playing the high risk deep passing option route offense they used to use.
Of course Houston is missing their best offensive player in Foster, but still, the defense looks pretty good, along with Eli. Now if everyone else could just step up.
D is on their game, got a turnover. O is moving the ball. (And yeah, young players like Donnell will break your heart sometimes.) Things are going okay.
of the problem is that this team has no down field playmaker. We have no one who can take the top off the defense. Cruz might be able to, but the OL can't pass protect for that long. So we need more plays to score. More plays equals more chances for bad things to happen, including turnovers.
It's coming together and this bad luck can't last forever!
I agree that we've had awful luck as well as plays we normally do better at where for inexplicable reasons we fall apart or turn the ball over. Hopefully it evens out quickly.
I really believe the division will be tighter than everyone says. Because I don't even have to turn my head and the Redskins offense (with Kirk the Lion Cousins) is lighting them up.
