Eli is going to be just like Brees/Rodger,etc in this offense. The OL is improving, the D still looks ok, I think we are getting there. We will keep improving every week. If the OL holds then we will compete.
Defense started to crumble in 2nd half. Nobody covers TEs and their passing game got better. Fewell sucks ass at making adjustments, especially when there was not enough pressre on Fitz in 2nd half.
OL.
Jennings.
Eli.
D. Gave up some plays, but overall was excellent. Stevie Brown and J. Williams didn't have good games.
Thought the WRs and TEs were also good.
ST was a mixed bag. Without the blocked punt, they would have been terrible.
What's really encouraging, is how dominant the OL was right from the start.
30 to 17 and it wasn't that close. We had two huge blunders we had to overcome that would of at least gave us two more field goals and the Reffs arbitrarily deciding when to throw flags.
If I understand correctly, he hasn't yet had one single practice ... and yet the media says he's playing on a short week Thu night? I'll believe it when I see it.
Already lots of well deserved kudos for the o line handling JJ Nott. JPP had another very good game, especially playing the run. This was a very good game for all but special teams.
Great play by all of them today. Especially Pugh, Richburg, and Walton. Beatty was pretty good. Jerry was pedestrian. But Richburg was an animal. He has that combination of toughness and skill. He was a steal in the 2nd round. Pugh was great too. The way they handled that very good Houston front 7 was impressive. Hynoski chipped in with some vicious blocks too. Eli was phenomenal today. His throws were strong and accurate. Cruz looked the best he has in 2 years.
Jennings was a monster. The work load was a little too much though, especially with a short week. Williams has been a disappointment. He looks hesitant and his burst is inconsistent. I've said it a few times and I'll say it again. I'd like to see Hillis get a few snaps on 3rd downs. I don't want to burn out Jennings.
JPP was all over the place today on D. He looks healthy and strong.
RE: I like West Coast Eli better than Bombs Away Eli
Not sold on the defense.
Jennings was great.
Eli was played very well.
Nice job by the oline.
Looks like they may be getting comfortable.
Other than showing some cat-like agility, Fitzpatrick thankfully helped the Giants out a bit today like they needed him to.
Nice to see the Oline play well and you see what the results can be when that finally happens
best game theyve played in a long time. I have very low expectations for this team but I would love to be wrong. Thursday is going to be very telling.
Are you talking to us or the Giants?
2nd and shorts
Meanwhile the Redskins hurting a little...
@MikeJonesWaPo: Ugly day for #Redskins: Hall on crutches, Lavauo out w knee injury, and Trent Williams and Baker both ejected.

Give him a solid OL and he excels in either style. He is one of the best long ball QB I've ever seen.
