Eli made all his receivers at ol miss look good too.
He is in a new offense like a rookie but he is far from a rookie and when he hits his stride a lot of people are going to owe him an apology for shitting on him the last two years. He's a fucking Manning he will be fine!
Comeback player of the year maybe?

Comeback player of the year implies there was a reason for shitting on him the last two years, doesn't it? Otherwise how is it a comeback? It would be insulting to Manning to refer to him as having a comeback.
Great play by all of them today. Especially Pugh, Richburg, and Walton. Beatty was pretty good. Jerry was pedestrian. But Richburg was an animal. He has that combination of toughness and skill. He was a steal in the 2nd round. Pugh was great too. The way they handled that very good Houston front 7 was impressive. Hynoski chipped in with some vicious blocks too. Eli was phenomenal today. His throws were strong and accurate. Cruz looked the best he has in 2 years.
Jennings was a monster. The work load was a little too much though, especially with a short week. Williams has been a disappointment. He looks hesitant and his burst is inconsistent. I've said it a few times and I'll say it again. I'd like to see Hillis get a few snaps on 3rd downs. I don't want to burn out Jennings.
JPP was all over the place today on D. He looks healthy and strong.
Have to disagree on Williams. I thought he ran well today. Put his shoulder down and hit the hole, no spins or dancing. I think he got coached up over the week and responded well.
We should, Washington had a tough physical loss today.
Don't count on it. They want to get back in the win column too and are playing at home on national TV. They played philly very well today. I expect another very tough game. If we can somehow find a way to win, it will say a lot about this team and what direction they are going in.
but I'm a bit unnerved that he got 34 carries. I guess we needed the win, but we got a short week coming up, and we need him to hold up for the entire season.
They were just talking on the post game show about how the Giants
didn't let those first two turnovers stymie them ... the fumble inside the 10 and then the very next possession the muffed snap ... things looked horrible for the Giants ... but they overcame the back to back miscues to have a very strong game ... and that says a lot about this team's emotional makeup and character
from both sides of the ball. Let's see how this translates moving forward, just one game. Time to see us win the money games against our division starting Thursday night. Texans without Foster and on the road, lets not get too giddy.

Yeah its a lot of carries and I felt the same way during the game, but getting that first win is too important. Ride him to that W. Deal with everything else after.
This team is still learning the new O-system and I expect that there will be a number of highs and lows this season as they adapt to it. Today was a great step forward, but it comes on the heels of two very poorly played/mistake ridden games.
RE: Agreed JPP, Moore, Jenkins and Hankins really applied pressure
is best good for 12th and 7th overall for Elis career. I didn't realize Eli had 11 other games with a higher QB rating. Even completion percentage surprised me. I thought this 75% was like top 5 if not top 3 in his career.
3 of 4 are division games. We have to win 3 of the next 4 also to have a winning record going into the bye. Our Defense is what concerns me now, more then the O. I see progress with the O, but defense is still lacking in areas.
Washington had 2 100 yd receivers, including our biggest nemesis DJac, against philly. If we can't contain their O, we will not be able to keep up. Our offense looks more efficient then big play now.

Give him a solid OL and he excels in either style. He is one of the best long ball QB I've ever seen.
True, but watching him get into a rhythm is fun. Today was like getting to see him in 2-minute mode all game.
We could've scored 40 if they didn't kind of take the air out of the ball once they hit 20 points.

We may have something, boys

Relief...
The new Offense looks very good.
In spite of the key injuries the Defense looks great.
The Giants are playing well above what I am expecting from them. They played a great game today from all three areas, O, D, and ST!
And now he's talking about the D giving them a short field.
Refused to take any credit for himself
what a difference when he throws no picks.
I think we all held our breath on that throw that was deflected by J.J. Watts and fell among several Houston defenders.
@Connor_J_Hughes: Pugh mentions the music Friday got him and teammates going "We're having fun" #Giants
@Connor_J_Hughes: Pugh says on the sack sack he gave up he was too aggressive. #Giants
Lol
Foh!!

I hate Washington.
Tough one going into Washington on a short week, they played a good Eagles team to the end. We can win it though.

Patterson blew up that play on the 4th and 1 to start the 3rd quarter..

Yup. Hankins got the tackle but it was Patterson who made the play in the backfield.
