47-68 (69%) for 511 yds, 4 TD's and 2 ints, QBR 103
He is right at the 70% target when the offense is in synch. The good news is I don't see teh Eagles/Redskins/Cowboys defense being able to give them more of a game than AZ or Houston did.
Wasn't sure how he might adapt to new offense, but he sure is comfortable with quick pace and quick releases. What I really liked is how consistently he hit guys in stride, which is a key to making this short pass offense move down the field.
We haven't seen him play. He very well could suck. It's good to think positive, but right now OB is an unknown quantity. Barely practiced, and in a preseason where we had 5 games, his ass didn't play in any of them. So right now I am not sure what he can do.
At least we should be rid of all those posts clamoring for Nassib
Eli out that would be nice. Eli made a good play alluding the rush, steps up and splits two defenders on the throw to Parker, who fucking drops it.
That Sail route with RR, and Eli is just god awful. Eli is trying to throw him open and RR is too damn slow. To his defense, he seems to be grabbed in both games. However, I want to see another WR run that route.

X skillset seems to be something they don't have a lot of, and I'm not convinced that Beckham is that either.
Really excited about Beckham's return. Whenever it is. I'm not sure what our record's going to be, but our personnel on offense is looking a hell of a lot better, especially if Beckham shows promise and Schwartz settles in somewhere.

Randle also has a bad habit of not extending and catching the ball with his hands. All too often he's letting the ball come to him instead of attacking it. Kills him on those routes and when he's well covered.

Randle's reaction time is so slow I can get to the fridge and get a beer an back before he can turn up field. The fridge is twenty ft away.
Can wait for ODB gets out there.
He will learn to tweak it to his strengths and will start to rip apart defenses like a surgeon. Just give him time and catch the ball. He made gilbrides 90s run and shoot hybrid run like a watch, imagine what he'll do when he is calling his own plays at the line ala big brother.

I see him more of a Victor Cruz type but faster and better acceleration. However, not seeing him play yet due to injury, I am not sure what the hell he can be for us.
I do envision him getting moved everything but excelling the same way Cruz can and showed today. Perhaps taking a slant and then out running people. Come backs, square ints, and bubble screens.

Toomer was the same way. In fact Toomer was a chest catcher. So many times I'd see him and the ball would be smacking his chest and he'd put his hands under so that after it hit his chest he would secure it.
RR is just inconsistent. He has good height and his game speed is average to good, nothing special. Eli is trying to throw him open on the Sail route to the right side, and he can't separate. So longer the Cb is with him, the CB then tends to grab him. Happened twice in 2 games. Bad no calls, but still he is too damn slow to run that route and have Eli throw him open. Perhaps OB or Cruz can run that route and get some separation.

I just don't trust him to play with consistency. The ball is thrown well and he isn't there. Ball is thrown well and he is on the same page and he drops it.
I'd throw to him once in the red zone, or just hitches and comebacks. The longer the route, the less confidence I have in him to make a play. He is too big to run those quick bubble screens too. I'd rather see Cruz and Parker, and OB, when he is out there, attempt those.
I feel like they put Randle on these routes because that's what's
Yeah I thought Ike was faster and more shifty. I forgot the routes we used to throw to him back then but he used to make the guy miss and get yards. RR is too big and slow on buddle screens or X hot. He should just go full speed and use his size to get yards. It seems like he tries to make a move and by then players rally.
was that Eli used to have a lot of trouble in KG offense in occasional short passes, not having the proper touch on the ball. Now Eli seems to be throwing the short passes really well.
Things are really looking up. I'm so excited that the Oline is beginning to get in sync with each other much earlier than I thought possible.

Just make catches. Maybe confidence gives this team a punch.

Guy is the man.
All that talk was pretty stupid.

He's more Ike Hilliard than Toomer in my humble opinion. (post-injury, I know ike was much faster as a young man)
