I think it was the Chargers game. I thought he did a great job.
I also thought John Lynch was great in our game last week, but as he likely said something negative/honest about the way we played I imagine I'm in the minority there.
He just doesn't have the voice for it. If I'm going to be overly critical, he doesn't have the personality either. But his analysis of the game is on point.
Without seeing the game I can tell you there's no chance
He's 3 games in to a whole new career, he gives some very good inside the X and O stuff. His voice isn't great, but he'll improve that with work, and he doesn't seem overwhelmed by it like some ex jocks have. Once he gets his bearings I'm sure his personality will come out more, I think he's got a good future doing this, he seems like he enjoys it and he's already solid.
I agree, to an extent, with his personality. But as far as his voice goes, either you have it or you don't.
As much as people hate "Chucky" on ESPN , I love him. I knew from day one he had the X-FACTOR. With both the voice and personality. His rock solid analysis inside the X's and O's is just icing on the cake.

What?
He sounds unintelligible at times..
Nope. Don't agree. At all. Diehl has done a fantastic job
