Yesterday's skins/eagles game got me thinking - which of the NFC east teams do I hate the most?
I'd say my rankings and reasoning are:
1) Eagles - hate the fans, their attitude, and the bevy of dirty players they've had over the years. Gives me the most pleasure when they lose
2) Cowboys - in a close 2nd place to the Eagles. Always fun beating them in Dallas and watching Jerry cry. I would rank them #1, but they've provided so much unintentional comedy over the years
3) Skins - I've been to a bunch of skins/giants games in D.C., and honestly it's changed my opinion of them a bit. Even when I wear my giants jersey, the fans have been good natured and never obnoxious/annoying both in the stands or at tailgates before.
Would be curious to see what the rankings are for the rest of BBI
2. Dallas.
3. Washington.
its Eagles 1a, and cowboys 1b, that varies year to year
#2 is usually Cowboys. Very similar reasoning to what you said.
#3 is usually Redskins, because Philly and Dallas are 1 and 2.
However, when the Redskins sniff some success, living in Maryland and working in DC, there are times Washington jumps up to #2. This week could be one of them.
2. Eagles
3. Eagles
4. Eagles
5. Eagles
6. Eagles
7. Eagles
The Skins don't even begin to come into the conversation until after the Niners for me, because they have been so pathetic for the past 20+ years. Also, my wife is a big Skins fan, and I really don't have it in me to bring much hate to the team she loves.
but.....in general, year in and year out, it's Dallas, Wash and Philly in that order. One reason might be because I hate the owners of the first two but am pretty ambivalent about the Philly owner.
3: Eagles
4: Cowboys
5: Redskins
2.Cowboys
3.Eagles
4.Cowboys
5.Eagles
6.Cowboys
7.Eagles
8.Cowboys
9.Eagles

Who has had the most success against the Giants in recent years? That's how I hate them.
These days it's:
Eagles
Cowboys
Redskins
It's unfortunate the Giants aren't really good (although I think they can be). With the owners in Dallas and Washington being all-time idiots, we'd be having a great time.
It was the Buddy Ryan era that changed that. It was like feeding the Eagle fanbase gunpowder. They have been arguably the most awful fanbase in professional sports ever since.
For me, the Redskins have always been the least offensive. But I don't have to live in DC, like some of you.
Redskins
When I grew up and was in high school Troy Aikman and his cowboys were in their prime
In the 80's...Redskins. Easily.
These days? Gotta be the Eagles. That's not to say that I hate the others any less, though. I'm an equal-opportunity hayta...
Redskins
Eagles
I've spent many years seeing the Cowboys and Redskins kick the crap out of the Giants. The Eagles, not so much. Since I do not live close to NY, I don't have to put up with Eagles fans. Besides, what have the Eagles ever won?
Lilly, Meredith, Too Tall, Bullet Bob Hayes, Irvin, Deion, Aikman, Staubach, Witten, Nate Newton, Emmitt, Charlie Waters, Randy White, hate, hate, hate, hate....
Cowboys
Redskins
The it's Philly, followed by the Skins.
Then Eagles, then Washington and I really don't hate the Eagles or the Redskins. I just want them to lose every game.
Other than that, it's a tie between the Eagles and Cowboys for me. My hatred for them is bordering on unhealthy. The "Washington team" has been bad for so long that they have slipped to third (but not by much).
2) Dallas - although this is historical at this point; there's not much to hate lately
3) San Fran - I just hate them; everything about them
4) Patriots - I grew up in NH around the fan base through my formative years - my biggest thrill was beating them 2x in the Super Bowl.
5) Washington - Just because
#1 Most Hated Fans: Eagles
Redskins - more neutral than the others, but currently edging out Dallas for Most Hated Ownership.
Cowpukes and Washington in a tie for second.
After that, it's the Redskins. You can't spend any amount of time in the DC area without absolutely despising that team and their imbecile fans.
The Eagles quite frankly while of course hated have rarely every matter enough to generate the same amount of hate other then maybe the Dick Vermeil years, I can't remember for certain how they would have compared to the other two but I certainly despised Vermeil and his Eagles back then.
Dallas is 2.
Washington a distant 3rd.
