That line is serious problem --& gt;MT @howardeskin Starting to hear #eagles C Jason Kelce likely to have surgery. Could miss up to 2 months.
As Raanan says, that line isn't likely to improve. Foles was absolutely destroyed yesterday, both on that cheap shot and on a number of hits thereafter.
Especially that the Eagles O-line has a similar makeup to the Giants line and had just put together an incredible injury free year after suffering through years of problems. People who complained numerous times about Reese putting faith into Baas and Snee would then a few threads later praise the Eagle’s offense without noting that their management was forced to reply upon guys with similar histories. Last year, they put it all together. This year, the odds are catching up with them.
While I’m sure that they had contingencies plans in place, it will be interesting to see if being forced to use so much of the back end of the roster for a little while will have a noticeable effect.

It should. It hurt the Giants a lot with a crappy Oline. Foles is a pocket passer.
We are the only team that gets injured. Every other team drafts excellent linemen and LB's. Our coaches don't ever make adjustments. Our training staff is the worst.
To listen to some of the idiots on BBI, the Giants should be a perennial 4-12 team. By that reasoning, we must have awesome coaches and gutty players to be able to over-achieve each and every year.
I'm already pissed McClain was fined for the hit the week prior on Stanton.
Meh. Some injuries don't bother me. A guy like Hall, or Desean Jackson, wouldn't bother me because they act like jackasses on a regular basis. But guys who seem decent enough, even Jeremy Maclin, you hate (or you should hate) to see a career or even a season cut short. And while Clowney being out may help the Giants, most of us are football fans too and we know the product suffers when exciting players are on the shelf.
As for the Eagles, this was bound to happen as they went through last year incredibly healthy. Luck won't last forever.
After that, they get Lane Johnson back to replace third-string RT Andrew Gardner, who took over when second-stringer Allen Barbre went down for the year in Week 1.
The interior will probably continue to struggle without Kelce and Mathis. If Wade Smith has anything left, he might be playing before long.
Well the Eagles are 3-0. Good for them. The refs helped them win 2 & in the other game they were down 0-17 to a team that Alabama could probably beat. But they were lucky last season health-wise. Their luck ran out. Mother Dunne did long-distance running, Cybex & enhanced stretching for Fassel. We all know how that worked out.
"Kelce's surgery also forces the Eagles to make a roster decision, since they've already used their injured reserve-designated to return spot. Philadelphia will either have to keep Kelce on the roster, or place him on IR."
Jason Kelce to have hernia surgery - ( New Window )
Skins did have some injuries of their own however as Jason Hatcher left the game with a Hamstring issue
The Skins OL also had some injuries which may be of more interest. Their starting left guard left the game when a knee swelled up on him. Their C left the game for a while
Nothing seemed to bother Cousins however.
He was a pretty cool customer back there
Kelce is going under the knife in September, so I imagine they will keep him on the active roster, at least for the next few weeks.
