stop showing slow motion replays of celebrations after plays...it only encourages acts of jackassery. This isn't just in the NFL...it's everywhere. I saw a guy score a goal in Spain yesterday shrug off his celebrating teammates so he could hold a stupid pose...he looked like a moron.
Has always been that it happens to a lot of these guys easier because they've got so much muscle packed onto their frames and a lot of them are like walking science experiments. Probably puts a ton of strain on the ligaments and makes it easier for them to snap.
I don't know if that's completely accurate but it's the only thing that really ever made sense to me considering how well conditioned these guys usually are.
but this one is funny and sad at the same time. Tearing your ACL in Week 3 after sacking a QB and mimicking a silly dance he does, or used to do. Good grief. Talk about karma.
RE: It still amazes me how easily some of the ligaments pop on these guys.

The worst thing was his response - We always celebrate after a good play ... no regrets ....
131 games played without an injury. NFL throws a flag at ball spinners but allows this crap. Should be at least 5 yards for delay of the game, 15 yards if your team is getting blown out and you still do it...

The celebrations by a player on a team losing by a significant margin will always be the worst. The Panthers can be losing 35-6, and that dope Cam Newton will still do his Superman nonsense after a 1-yard TD dive.
There was a recent game (can't remember exactly) where a cornerback broke up a short end zone pass from inside the 10 yard line, and he folded his arms and posed for the crowd. His team was losing by double digits.
Giants players don't do it often, but when they do, I cringe.
is showing this clip in meetings this week and telling guys to knock off the nonsense celebrations. Hopefully we don't see TD celebrations after every average play now.
but was it really a 2 yard run? The linked articles both claimed it was a sack celebration.
Not that it matters regarding the injury, but I kind of hate when players celebrate regular plays, and I understand why they celebrate TD's, turnovers, and sacks.
is maybe 2 seasons ago, USC was playing possibly Stanford or ASU and the other team w had driven to where they were in "extra point" FG range with well under a minute to go. They were basically just killing the clock for the game winning FG. That's when this jagoff on USC breaks through and tackles the RB for a 1-2 yard loss......still WELL within FG range, but you would not have believed the celebration this moron performed. He seemed COMPLETELY clueless that his team was about 5 seconds away from a chip shot game winning FG (which was made).

I just saw the video, cringe. unbelievable you play football and then do a jump hip move and there goes the ACL, crazy.

The elderly and athletes may also be at higher risk for copper deficiency due to special needs that increase the daily requirements.
Other conditions previously linked to copper deficiency include chronic conditions involving bone, connective tissue
My theory ...
