How in the world do you throw that screen pass when there are two bears bracketing the running back as well as is one guy directly between you and him? What a brain fart
actively seek out contact with defenders on every pass play. All contact is going to draw a flag in this ridiculous league. It should be a strategy and integrated into the coaching. Defenders will get called for 90% of the contact created by the receiver.
Defense isn't allowed in this era of football. Sheldon Richardson is allowed to get held so Cutler doesn't get sacked, but if you hit a WR too hard you're getting a 15 yard penalty.
Being an incentive for me to watch awfully officiated games or snoozefest Thursday night games. It's exactly why the NFL is allowed to be the way it is. I don't give a shit about this outcome. I'm just keeping tabs on Alshon Jefferey since I'm playing him this week.
don't such anymore. Smith constantly lays the ball right into his hands and he muffs catches. I didn't realize his hands were so bad and are really smallish.
shit that was bad by Geno. He's got like twenty-five YEARS to throw the ball, and he chucks a duck right to the DB. Like catching a fly ball in centerfield.
Is anybody else amused to discover that all the Bears TDs were scored by guys who spent a year (but not more) with the Giants?
Someone explain to me why Bennett was not re-signed?
because Bennett left as a Free Agent and he had the right to sign wherever he wanted.. He got 9 million guaranteed and a good signing bonus in a year the Giants had to sign Cruz..
The Giants made on offer.. he took another one.. simple
People ask me why I left a job where I was for ten years and had a very good position.. because someone else recruited me and offered me more money, benefits with weekends off..
How many times did we hear reports of him limping and barely even being able to walk during the week for him to just come out on Sunday and leave it all on the field?
ESPN so far up NFL's ass that it wont call out the officiating changes in the offseason. Silence from Tirico is proof everytime he leaves Gruden's call alone.
Fuck the Jets. They got plenty of calls last year, including that awful "late hit" in Week 1 on Geno on the last drive of the game, allowing them to win.
after they got a shit ton in their favor last season. About fucking time. Also about time they at least have somewhat of a tough schedule for once, too. Christ.

That is true though, they won 2 games last year with the help of bad calls in their favor (TB, NE)
I know there are people on here who think Kim Jones is good,

Yep, I also could have sworn there was another one, too. Can't think of it right now, though.
The hot SNY girl asked Mike Westhoff a question 10 minutes ago,
if the jets stuck with Ivory a bit more they'd be successful and if they commit to the run. But Jeez, the play calling is so atrocious. I was embarrassed. Never complaining about the Giants ever.
It's funny to hear him talk on SNY like he's the Professor of Quarterbacks.
Ben McAdoo never played the position but yet was the QB coach for GB. I'm not siding with Ray Lucas because I've never watched SNY, but NFL experience doesn't matter.
Trent Dilfer absolutely shits on Steve Young in analysis.
If Kerley was uncovered, he's still landing out of bounds. Even all the Jet-homer SNY guys are saying it.
This. I recall a game two years ago with the Titans and the analyst said even if a flag is thrown it would be picked up since the ball is thrown out of bounds. Making a spectacular leap to save an out of bounds ball does not mean a penalty occurred. It would be just a specular catch even if the receiver manage to get two feet inbounds. I guess it is a judgment call though.
Also, that last pass to Kerley was well overthrown. The stills don't account for momentum which was and did carry him well out of bounds.
And let's not act like that bogus defensive holding call on Bostic didn't happen a few plays earlier. The dropped INT was also a major gift.. the game should have been over 1 play into that drive. Geno threw it right to him and somehow he couldn't catch it.

Dude, it's the Jets. He *was* one of their legendary QBs.
And Geno!!!! Former Giant!!!! LOL
Beautiful pass Geno.
Yep. A Bear loss is the much better result.
Tell me again how these clowns are better than the replacements
Tell me again how these clowns are better than the replacements
yep
Most football fans do not know anything about football. Then there are Jets fans who know even less.
If DET can protect Stafford that's going to be a slaughterhouse
New NFL motto.
And that hit wasnt bad
If it looks bad, it must be a flag. I think these refs have been working my son's lacrosse game where if the crowd goes "OOhhh", they throw flags.

I agree. What option do they have if they can't lay that hit? Just let them score?

I am using http://nfl-online-live-stream.blogspot.com/p/chicago-bears-vs-new-york-jets-live.html right now and it is kinda stop and go.
Just fuck ups of epic proportions.
This isn't Bears vs Jets. This is Bears vs Jets with the refereeing as a wild card.
They did penalize the Bears for saying a bad word to the officials that led to a TD.
Quote:
have been pathetic once again tonight. They have screwed the Jets real bad

They called that correctly based on the rules. The call on Walls was horrific and they blew the fumble dead for no reason
So many dumb pros...
If you ask them to sit back, and to only call the egregious ones, they will always look good.

GE-NO!
I think he choked because the Jets rush on the punts have been great.
spider y 3 banana
There's plenty of time left and now you make it a 5pt game. I thought it was the right decision. The Jets D just needs to do their job here.
my new car will be hte prius. sorry buick.
why cant we find any of these guys?
In Jerry we trust though.
why cant we find any of these guys?
Ahmad Bradshaw 2 Super Bowl titles

ok ok i was being facetious. Except I dont think our recent drafting has been stellar
Great Giant. Absolute warrior.
ever.
(That's not why we tuned in, though, is it?)
I'll go no.
(That's not why we tuned in, though, is it?)
I did. I needed him for fantasy and he came through.
Penalty on offense, boger calls it "passing team"
Coaches challenge, boger cant even get the terminology of spot challenge right.
is he ok? seriously, is he ok?
2. Triplette
3. Boger
On the road in a very short week.
Wow.
book it
jesus, this guy is having a horrid game.
Even though that is a horrific penalty.... lol. NFL sucks.
Call
NBC constantly railed on it.
And you throw at Fuller?
2. boneheaded wtf were u thinking INT
...Yeah. Uncatchable.
the 2nd one was unforgivable. gotta go for it there.
sportscenter begins
and i see LAA highlights first up?
who gives a fuck. jesus.
How do you figure they sort out who gets to start yelling first? Arm wrestle, or is it always Schein?
Brutal INT in endzone
Throws a blind screen pass that leads to pick 6.
Yeah, I just switched over and I'm still saddened by their loss. I'm sure Ray Lucas fills the void nicely though.
At this point Kerley has his hands on the ball. No way you can say 100% he doesnt land in bounds without contact.
Hahaha
a fumble mistakenly blown dead which is returned for a TD
the last play of the game where 90% of the time, a flag flies because the corner didn't look back for the ball
We'd be getting the pitchforks ready
That is true though, they won 2 games last year with the help of bad calls in their favor (TB, NE)
During Rex's press conference: "When you were asked about getting Michael Vick more involved, you didn't say no."
End of "question."

58% completions.
18 TDs, 17 INTs.
74.3 QBR.
