NFT: Cheap Slingbox for sale

If you live remotely and have a friend in the tri-state area, you can buy a refurbished Slingbox for $20 from Tiger Direct today (After rebate)

This allows someone to stream TV over the Internet. So you would send them this box, they'd plug a cable wire into the back, and then after setup, you can connect and watch the Giants for free.

I don't think this has wifi, not saying it's good or bad, just saying to make sure it fits your application.

TD earned a bad rep in the past with rebates but I've never had an issue and I did one for $50 in the past month.

The slingplayer app costs $15 so keep that in mind.

This seems like a nice deal for those that could take advantage of it, but I've never used it. I'd get the squaretrade if I bought it because there is a reason there are so many refurbs if you ever read through reviews.

I got this same SB used off ebay about a year ago for $40. its great if you travel. I also have a projector and put a roku stick in it and watch football and baseball game outside. pretty cool.
