"Among the players we saw today: Jawanza Starling, a former Texans safety who had a brief stint on the Giants practice squad last year.
Corey Lynch, a safety who has had stints with the Bengals, Buccaneers, Chargers, Colts, and Titans since 2008, was also in the building."

"1. Ryan Mundy, S: A somewhat under-the-radar free-agent signee, Mundy is a powerful tackler, who quietly brought stability to strong safety. Mundy flashed in the opening moments of Monday night's 27-19 win in New York, intercepting Jets quarterback Geno Smith and returning the ball 45 yards for a touchdown. The safety did suffer what he called a "serious stinger" injury at MetLife Stadium, but the hope is Mundy can recover before the Bears host the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. Mundy is also a standout on special teams, which only enhances his value. A class act in the locker room, Mundy should serve as an example to the younger, more impressionable players. This is how a true professional handles his business both on and off the field. "

Doesn't matter what happened. He's gone. Would rather discuss real options at safety now
PS pun intended
Isn't he a CB?
geo: I agree with you, in principle, and even moreso given where the country is heading regarding possession of marijuana for personal use
however, like any other job anywhere else, if there is a policy regarding drug use that includes marijuana, its quite irresponsible to ignore that policy and get suspended on more than one occasion resulting in your absence from work
realizing that professional football is a job where other people are very dependent on you being present at work, and the pay rate for your profession is astronomically higher than the majority of other people, its quite irresponsible to not adhere to the drug policies of your employer
this is the core of addiction...continued use regardless of personal consequences or how it may affect others in your life..its why will hill is not here anymore
Maybe in the future pot suspensions should come with rehab assignments..?
Or if society decides rehab isn't appropriate for marijuana, maybe the NFL should get rid of what is a hipocritical ban?

we could go on for days on the matter, but, the current nfl drug policies are what they are...hypocritical, maybe, and certainly due for review and amendment..point is, will hill knew these rules, and chose to ignore them..that's a problem on any job site, and one that will most likely get you fired in the long run
I speak on all of this from personal experiences..all of it

That's part of the NFL drug treatment program. After the 2nd stage you must provide evidence that you have control over your addiction. They just don't tell you to get lost until week 7. Will Hill and Josh Gordon both went to rehab for WEED and still can't help but use it. Gordon checked back in one again this month.
