.500 would be really meaningful. I also think going 4-2 and finishing with 80 wins would be a big deal. I know there is no real difference between 79 and 80, but it just looks better. Players would feel a bit better saying they were an 80 win team. 70s and 60s are for loser teams.
I'd love to just take this series

from the Nats. They may have had their struggles and ups and downs, but the Nats have a very good baseball team. Borderline WS caliber. I wouldn't be shocked at all if they won it this year with their pitching. And as much as I believe the Mets will be playoff caliber next year, I don't think they are surpassing the Nats anytime soon.
Some interesting things to root for this week.

Can Duda get 30? Can Granderson get 20? Can TDA hit 15? Can Colon finish with an ERA in the 3's and 15 wins? Can Flores hit a couple more? Can Murphy stay over .300?
Flores and Kirk trade doubles

just loves teeing off against the Mets, unbelievable! He's like Pat Burrell reincarnated.

The 42 HRs against us is mind boggling, but really he only OPS 40 higher against the Mets than he did for his career. He absolutely murdered the Cardinals -- 1.038 career OPS which was about 200 points higher than his overall OPS.
