I've been watching all the shows picking the Skins to win, listening to all the analysis, reading the message boards, etc...And I don't get all the love their getting. I get the home field advantage on a short week, but they are coming into this game very beat up and nothing I've seen watching them has really impressed me. I understanding people picking them, but it's that EVERYONE seems to have them winning and winning easily.
Carved up ? Stanton vs Giants - 14 of 29 for 167 yards
We have not "earned" anything. I am not convinced that the skins are that good, but if we lay another turd on national TV it will be a long time before the Giants get or deserve any respect.
In the past we have tended to stay back and play coverage against backup QBs. We will lose if we do that tonight.
Wtf? Carved up? Lol.
Giants 24-20
The GiANTs Wants Some
RedSkins on the HalfShell!!
This isn't close
Coming on the heels of your 'Did we even play yesterday?' thread it feels like too much concern over what other people think of the Giants. And coming off the Giants best performance in something like two seasons, it seems early to be worrying about the Giants getting enough credit for that one performance.
It's two 1-2 teams playing on a short week. People are picking the home team. It's not unreasonable. If the Giants lose tonight, it's a safe bet that no one's going to start a thread 'Well, the pundits sure got this one right!'
So, maybe, let's just hold fire until the Giants have accomplished something more than a one game winning streak before we're worrying that they're not getting enough love from non-Giants fans.
I live to prove you wrong.

This has more to do with, my belief, the media is giving them TOO much credit. This has nothing to do with respekt or whatever hipster way we want to put it. I'd agree with the betting line and calling it even, but don't understand how everything I've seen has been onesided.

Your extrapolating my overall theme or opinion by combining two seperate threads on two completely different topics. One was on the previous game and this is on the upcoming one. Did you read what I wrote in the threads or just the titles of each.
If you had read this thread at least you'd know I've stated multiple times I have no problem with who any picks to win. I'm not going to go further then that, because I've already done that in multiple posts.
If the Giants OL takes another step forward opening up holes for Jennings and giving Eli 4 seconds to throw the ball, we'll score points...a lot of them.
If the Giants D line keeps up what they have been doing, Jackson and Garćon wont get any separation and we'll get turnovers and sacks.
I have a feeling just based on the coaching history of this staff, and the fact the Giants have trended up two games in a row, that they take anpther step forward and win tonight.
Giants-27
Skins- 10
I also think we might see a few balls thrown down the field this game. Its the next logical step in the offense's progression.

.
I did read the other thread, yes. It was a 'rant' (your word) about you being 'all excited' to watch coverage of the Giants first September win in two seasons. And then being all disappointed that you only saw :30 of coverage. Not enough love.
And here you're complaining that the Redskins are getting too much love.
The two threads aren't as separate in reality as they are in your mind, as they both revolve around the Giants not getting enough time/attention/credit/l-u-v to suit you.
And I'm saying that as much fun as last week was for Giants fans, it makes complete sense that only Giants fans think it's a really big deal and it didn't carry over to this week. (Except for Giants fans.)
Hopefully, there's opportunity for you to be 'all excited' again later tonight. Because the Giants will get plenty of attention. The 'love' of disinterested parties will have to be earned, as always.
I'm not one to toot my own horn, but hey, Cousins... crash and burn baby. Crash and burn.
Take a bow good sir. This one stands tall!
Wow. Spot on.
