Cousins is playing well. He has weapons. Jackson has killed us. He owns us.

Teams on Thursday on the road have not faired well.

The Texans are Terrible against the run and Washington is strong vs. The run.

That said it is a game I think we can win. I would very much like to see us shutting down the run and then when Cousins has to throw getting some pass rush and making him uncomfortable and then thr secondary getting a turnover or 2.

Also this game is critical to both teams so sense of urgency is going to be high on both sides. Intensity will be high I think. I think since Washington had a tough nc east last week the benefit to nyg is they have a little less in the tank and their D is banged up.


I believe the NYG will need to put up at least 27 points to win, unless the weather is helper skelter.

You missed the memo. Thursday night football home teams are only winning at a 56% clip since the NFL started doing weekly Thursday games in 2012. Visiting teams are not at any more of a disadvantage on Thursdays than they are on Sundays.

in the sense of if there is any chance to get into the postseason, and I think that is a realistic goal Giants need this. 1-3 is bad enough. 1-3 again losing teams with backup QBs would be very hard to justify and hope or credibility.

Win this game somehow, anyhow and get guys healthy. It would be really nice if the Giants start playing well, them get a nice extra boost from ODjr in a few weeks when he's ready to go.

Joe Thiesmann (and I know he is full of hyperbole) was pushing for Cousins to be the starter in preseason action. To even approach that in RG3 country, says something to me. I am sure Snyder wasn't happy to hear that.

It's not so much that a win propels us into anything significant as much as it is that a loss pretty much buries us.

Prince played a good game against the Texans.

Despite the Eagles hot start, the NFC East is wide open. You want to win the division you have to win these games. It starts tonight!

Don't let it get out of hand early. Cousins has talent but he's never won a big game in the fourth quarter. Keep them off the board early. Last week the team got some momentum with a few early stops. We played well with the lead as opposed to the first few weeks where we had to come from behind. I don't see us winning a shootout. We have to sustain long drives by using our quick passing and running the football.

Need to win the turnover battle. Take care of the football. Make a couple plays on defense. When's the last time we had a strip sack? I see one coming from DaMONSTER tonight!

HUGE GAME! HUGE HUGE GAME! If we can find a way to win against a division opponent on the road after starting 0-2 this team will gain some confidence and some momentum. Shock the world. Get it done.

Hopefully we can run the ball well enough, because I'm not sure we have the weapons yet to win any shoot-outs on the road. Hope we bring Cousins down to Earth, too. He sucked last year.

If he plays soft zone skins will tear us up. This is the game to bring pressure on cousins and not drop 8 into coverage. Paul needs to have a big game and be able to stop the run on his side. Cousins needs to be rushed if he is allowed time he will tear us up. DRC on Jackson that is what he was brought here to do. But knowing Fewell he will play 2 zone deep and the skins rec will be open all day. Pressure is the keys tonight. Get them out of the rhythm. Make him make bad throws. I have faith offense will put up 21+ points.

The positive thing about for NYG is it means the DL is in worse shape, because if they added. A DL one of the DL is likely to be inactive.

About Hatcher. Hopefully he is slowed and takes up a roster spot.

Their secondary is in shambles and they're going to bring a lot of pressure to try and cover it up. If we can hit on some quick hits over the middle, one or two will probably go for big yardage.

DeSean Jaccson gets alot of press, but when was the last time he just abused the Giants OUTSIDE of the play that remains nameless in 2010? He had 11 catches against us last year, but the last time he really went off on us was 2009.

Arc. I think Cruz and Preston Parker are going both going to have lots of chances for YAC tonight.
