Jints, you know me. I knew(hoped) the OL would mesh on or before a third into the season which to me meant a more effective Eli(along with an actual running game) plus improved talent on D and thus I always felt we were contenders for Division Or WC, assuming no catastrophic injuries..I NEVER, for even a nanosecond, thought this was a 2 year rebuild/process..:)
I did, Doc, and I still stand by that.
Klaatu : 9/27/2014 11:36 am : link
Going into the season I thought the Giants were a mediocre team - not a bad team...there's a big difference - who would need another productive offseason to become serious contenders. I figured them for 8-8...with a bit of good luck, 10-6...with a bit of back luck, 6-10. We'll see how things play out.

I'll be happy if we can just take down the Eagles.

I suspected the same but thought we needed a few more pieces this year, hence "2 year re-build"

If the Giants can continue to play very well, Reese should get a raise for turning a shit show into a competitor in only 1 off-season. It would be remarkable considering how many upgrades we needed.

Article is good. It would seem the players, specifically Eli was all smiles. Sure we were winning but Cruz's statement that this offense is fun sums it up. I can't remember our players this verbal about our offense.
