Holding doesn't stop the game clock until next snap. Only until the ball is reset. Whereas a false start stops the game clock until the next snap -- thus the 10 sec runoff rule.
I am pumped to listen to ESPN Radio in Philly tomorrow.
Can't wait to hear the whining. Of coarse, they're going to say they had philly losing this game anyway.
I mostly can't wait to hear what they have to say about "genius" Chip Kelly who is "the most innovative guy in the NFL" and how "his offense will be unstoppable."

Really???? That clock would have been running if there was no penalty. I'd almost rather see the clock run than get the 10 yard penalty.
As soon as the ball was is reset, the game clock starts again, unlike a false start which would stop the game clock.

Yep as usual for the NFC East title, for the fourth straight season. Except this time it won't involve the Cowboys
Bridgewater especially. The Vikings must be even more pissed at AP now because they'd be a pretty good offense with Teddy and AP
