So here's hoping for a tie and Cowboys implosion that questions Romeo's game mentality for the next week. Had similar thoughts about the Niners and Eagles.
Al Michaels basically admitted he took the over. Â
Don't worry, man.. at least you didn't drop Asiata and have your opponent pick him up and start him against you.
Oh, and I've also been holding McKinnon for 3 weeks but had to drop him to open up a spot and he of course, followed that up by having his breakout game.
another laughably bad Rob Ryan defense. Yet he still considers himself some sort of guru.
They had a top 5 defense last year
You're right, but it helps when your offense spots you a three touchdown lead in every home game. He's had nowhere near the success overall that his rep would indicate. I'm guessing he regresses back to the mean this season.
They were pretty good last year, though. Having a top 10 offense certainly helps. I tend to think that if we had the Saints O last year, we probably would have been in the vicinity of a top 5 defense as well. Our offense made it incredibly hard to defend anyone last year.
Saints will need to be allowed to play with thirteen men on defense to win this game. That third down play was the first I can remember where they got any pressure on Romo.

Donald Brown did squat as did Andre Johnson and Nick Foles. Just terrible.
The Saints should never have traded Sproles, and certainly not for a 5th round pick. Drew Brees was quoted after the trade saying "that you only see a Darren Sproles type of player come around once in your career."
This Saints defense is about as soft as I've seen in football this yr Â
And are pissed they are winning, but a part of me can't help but love watching the saints get a beatdown, they always were such arrogant winners when they gave us those beatdowns in 09 and 11
The "multiple team family" commercial is against everything I stand for. I hate those type of fans. Just because you move doesn't mean you switch teams.
changed teams. The parents were Vikings fans, their son (Viking fan) married an Eagles fan (booo!). Moved to Cincinnati - had Bengal children. Other daughter likes the Cowboys even though she doesn't like football (typical). And all the rest.
get to be Bengals fans. at least not in my family. it's just wrong.
Well, then you best move out and start over with a new family. If you bring up children in Cincinnati, they're either going to love the Bengals or hate the Bengals (because everyone loves the Bengals). But they're not going to love a non-local team just because you like them.
Isn't giving proper credit to the Cowboys defense. They have been very active tonight
Austin Davis of all people shredded this defense last week. They still suck ass.
Much like the Redskins, take a look at the Cowboys opponents. Beating up on the atrocious Titans, barely eking out a win against the injury - ravaged Rams and now pounding a team with a terrible defense who has played like utter garbage on the road for years and years now.
You can clearly see that. If they game planned they would have went off on this weak ass Cowboys defense. The Cowboys defense cant stay with the Saint offense when they are playing their game. Clearly Lack of coaching by the Saints. Embarrassing showing by far. The Saints look worse then the Raiders and that's bad..
2) NFL football is unwatchable unless your team is playing. TD-commercials-Kickoff-commercials. It's like 10 minutes between actual gameplay. Who the hell has the time or patience to sit and watch that shit?
but that Saints D, especially the front 7, is a fucking sieve. No pass rush at all, DBs making not just tackles but first contact on a lot of rushing plays.
Coughlin never runs fakes. Parcells often did . . . Â
. . . because Parcells believed that "The element of surprise" was an effective weapon. The Gary Reason's fake punt run against SF in the 1990 NFC Championship game is a perfect example of when a fake is an excellent play. Peyton's onside kick against the Colts in the Super Bowl was perfectly timed too.
But that being said . . .
Where the hell was "the element of surprise" in the fake punt tonight? If you wanted to go for it you have Brees throw the ball. Holy crap that was horrible, sandlot call.
Cowboys, just played 3 weak teams in a row. And struggled with one of them. Every year, the Cowboys benefit, from a soft schedule in the beginning. Not taking anything away, from the Cowboys. But not only are the Saints struggling. Their defense is trash.
The 9er/Philly game is a game I wish they both could lose. I have no problem watching Bree's hang 45 pts on Dallas tonight.
69, no chance of rain, roof will probably be open, I don't think it affects Bree's that much though. Dallas just doesn't play defense very well...
Falcons D looked like Swiss cheese today, should be a cakewalk next week, probably won't even need to watch it...
Knows Rob Ryan's D ( assuming Payton didn't take it over last week), or how well Rob Ryan knows Romo...
Curtis in VA : 10:54 am : link : reply
both teams could lose
So was the PHI/SF game, but division opponent trumps.
Go Saints.
Knows Rob Ryan's D ( assuming Payton didn't take it over last week), or how well Rob Ryan knows Romo...
Romo didn't know it too well last year. The Saints skullfucked the Cowboys.
Dallas is confident, Saints are more hungry, make 'em suffer...
I want to see Dallas get stomped into the ground
They had a top 5 defense last year
Run the commercials after a kick is run back. Too much revenue lost?
Don't worry, man.. at least you didn't drop Asiata and have your opponent pick him up and start him against you.

(And by win, I mean lose badly.)

All I got is salami though...
Agree..they are solid
I want to watch Payton beat the crap out of Rob Ryan...
until he makes bogus plays.
if he doesn't get pressure
unstoppable

seriously. Run in traffic.
It's screwing with his wager.

Nassif > Romo

I still expect Brees to shit on them in the 2nd half and lead the Saints to a win. But this is the worst this team has looked in a while.
It IS bad. Unfortunately, right now the goddamned Saints are even worse.
spot them 17 pts, let them fall asleep and hope the offense can bail his sorry ass out...
Collinsworth is really good. I don't know why people dislike him.
All those teams everybody has a hard-on for (Green Bay, Chicago, Detroit, Carolina, Saints, Atlanta, 49ers) all look to be ehhhh
And it will be revealed that Al is the evil overlord behind the whole thing.

but that cat isn't afraid to call out bad officiating. He's done it a few times already this season.
Collinsworth is really good. I don't know why people dislike him.
Everyone loves the guy who tells it like it is, until he tells it about the team you care about.
Everyone hates Collinsworth because they heard him (probably justifiably) rag on their team once or twice.
Just a rotten week....Dez Bryant for the FAIL

Every single choice I made in fantasy this week was pretty much the wrong one.

I think I dropped Williams for Ahmad Bradshaw
Every time.

Just when you think Dallas sucks, they pull this shit?! LOL
At least the heat's on Philly now, too. They won't run away with this division.

He is such boner.
He is such boner.
Hahahaha! And he's getting a boner because the "over" he took is getting closer.
HERE COMES THE CHOKE
I still can't believe the fail on that fake punt.
But that being said . . .

Al Michaels said we were easy pickings for Dallas...that's some good bulletin board material in three weeks
Houston at 3-1 is even more smoke and mirrors than Dallas at 3-1.
