So it looks like the NFC East isn't the laughing stock (Redskins aside) anymore. Would you say that 4 weeks deep into the 2014 that the NFC East is gonna be a tough pit. I can't believe tonight's game between the Cowboys and Saints....wow, or are the Saints that bad???
The Giants and Cowboys DO seem to be trending higher than many would've thought going into the season.
Just...just
I had the same thought about the NFC East as you but have learned sharing those ideas here, unless you have time to engage in responses to those more concerned with criticizing your point than discussing your post , it s not worth the effort.
It is early to draw any conclusions. The data is very limited and what you see in September rarely ends up being reality.
Giants need to continue to play like they have these last two weeks. The next 3 games before the bye are all huge.
See, that's totally unnecessary. The poster made a couple of points but threw in what is basically a personal insult.
The original poster makes a point for discussion; this poster comes back with a put down. Not necessary.
It happens all the fucking time here. From the senior members too. Snide, unnecessary comments.
But the tone of these post is often, as you wrote, stated in a manner that comes across as a personal insult.
And it is not a matter of being too sensitive, at least not for me. It is more, when you attack me I want to come back at you. But I've neither the time nor do I need to waste energy arguing.
I post to share an opinion about the Giants, I want to hear what other Giants fans have to say about it, even when they disagree. But I find the insults frustrating for the above stated reasons.
I hope my pal Amtoft sees this, but Frederick already looks like a top 3 OC. Dallas can score against anyone but I think last night was more about issues with the Saints offense than Dallas defense becoming good. Carter and Hayden did play well.
I admit, I looked at it.
I hayte BBI at times
Both coaches in that game were iffy.
Go back and look at the defensive formation on third down in that situation and the LBers were 3 yards deep in the endzone. A run was stealing and even if Kelly didn't call it, Foles should have seen it and changed it.
Harbaugh came out throwing and hung with it for a long time despite the fact that CK couldn't find his ass with both hands and the OL couldn't protect him.
Not informing his QB not to take a TO on the 4th down was just plain inept. Yes, CK should have known better, but you have to be clear on that.
Neither coaches' finer moment in that contest.

I thought it was Sproles that looked slow last year, but based on the early results from this year I think you are right that it's the Saints O that looks slow. And it's been happening for a while now.

Philly beat 1 team, Indy by 3 in OT, with a 2-2 record, then you had the Jags and Skins with a combined total of 1 win between them! The Cowboys have 3 wins against titans, saints and Rams, all of which are 1 W teams (Rams play their fourth tonite).
I haven't even seen that, yet. I missed most of the 2nd half.
